BiographyA legend is born (51 BBY) Early Years (51-34 BBY)Lucas Jem McCoy was born in 51 BBY to Nytalia and Darin McCoy. His grandfather, Garaint McCoy, was close friends with Journeyman Protector Jaster Mereel and Shogun's Tannis Naast. At the time of the Mandalorian Civil War, Lucas' grandfather was murdered by Vizsla during a meeting in which Garaint and Jaster were deciding which of the two men should take up the title of Mandalore. Darin McCoy took his wife and newborn son along with Jaster Mereel's True Mandalorians, and after Jaster's death immediately the title of Mand'alor was taken up by Jaster's heir, Jango Fett. Training under his father and Jango, Lucas was quick to learn all manner of combat and especially enjoyed hearing the tales and songs of ancient warriors and long ago battles. When Jango Fett came to Darin McCoy to gather a crew for a job on Galidraan, Darin turned the Mand'alor down, against the code of the resol'nare. With his second son Myles a newborn, he could not justify a dangerous mission that could hurt his family. After a long talk with Jango, he returned home to discover that his wife, Nytalia, was leaving him for another man. Heartbroken, Darin left the planet and accompanied Jango Fett on the mission. He was later killed in the Jedi raid led by Master Dooku, in what was referred to as the legendary Battle of Galidraan. Escape to the Outer Rim (34-25 BBY)
 After his father's death, and the imprisonment of Mandalore Jango Fett, Lucas' family fled to Mos Eisley on Tatooine. He and the rest of the clans then scattered throughout the galaxy. After being duped by her new suitor, Nytalia got a job at Chalmun's Cantina (also known as the Mos Eisley Cantina). Lucas spent his days cleaning and servicing speeder engines in the alley behind the cantina with the wookie owner Chalmun's nephew, Beastacca. While his mother was at work, Lucas and "Beast" watched out for Myles. One day in the alley a swooper saw the teenage wookie and tried to abduct him. Fearing for his friend's life, Lucas pulled his fathers old pistol out of its hiding place in the family's apartment and killed the swooper with one shot to the chest. It was that day that Beastacca pledged his life debt to Lucas McCoy. Wraith League of Players (25-10 BBY)Vermillion Squadron (25 BBY)When he was old enough, Lucas got a job in the cantina itself serving drinks to the local scum. Lucas was soon after introduced to the mercenary called Cobrax. It was with Cobrax that Lucas, against his mother's wishes, got his first taste of the criminal underworld and was nicknamed "The Real McCoy" by the crew of Cobrax's vessel. He and Beast left Mos Eisley and traveled with Cobrax's crew for many years until the beginning of the Clone Wars. The squadron of pilots, called Vermillion Squadron, was lead by Cobrax as part of a smuggler corporation under The WLP (Wraith League of Players). McCoy spent years training under legendary warriors like Tanner, Deadman, Valkyrie, Punk, and Rodimus before joining the Grand Army of the Republic, though he was often confused for Boba Fett by some when first meeting him, because of the infamous green armor they both wore. Some of his squadron even called him Boba Fett until he was able to make a name for himself as a heavy weapons expert on away missions.  The Real McCoy (21 BBY)As the Clone Wars began, word of Jango Fett's escape from prison and vengeance on Vizsla and also of Jango's death on Geonosis began to reach the galaxy. The Kaminoans had cloned an entire army from Jango Fett for the Republic, giving the first, named Boba, to Jango as a son. As the Jedi Order fell at the end of the Clone Wars, Lucas became reinvigorated with his Mandalorian heritage and was determined to help his vode in hunting down the last of the Jedi. On one such hunt he came across a group of slavers being ripped limb from limb by a young Trandoshan. Lucas learned it's name was Crevossk just as he caught sight of his Jedi mark. During the skirmish that ensued, Crevossk attacked the Jedi and had both of his arms severed, giving McCoy the distraction needed to make a killing blow. Helping the Trandoshan to his feet, McCoy offered to give him passage off the planet. It was in transit when Crev's arms began to regenerate that McCoy decided having an ally that could regrow appendages could be quite useful. Crev agreed and returned with Lucas to Tatooine. With the formation of the Galactic Empire, Lucas began to take contracts from the Imperial garrison stationed in Mos Eisley along with bodyguard work for the Lady China and her criminal underworld. Though he didn't agree with the Empire's rule, the money was good and the jobs were steady. It was during the beginning of the first Galactic Civil War that Lucas met an Imperial Zabrak officer by the name of Vix Acworth. Though his ties to the Empire were extensive, Vix was invited to a meeting between Lucas and his allies Crevossk and Beastacca. After much deliberation the four decided to form a guild and begin building a city outside of the Imperial capitol of Bestine on Tatooine. They would call themselves The Roughneck Brotherhood.  The Roughnecks (10-0 BBY)The Battle of Beleg Tessa (1 BBY)The newly formed Roughneck Brotherhood relocated to their new home and dubbed it Beleg Tessa. There the four warriors, along with Neel Darklight, Omest Odegla, and Fiahow Imai, began monitoring Rebel activities coming from Anchorhead. As encounters with the Rebellion increased on Tatooine, a splinter guild was created for the defense of the city itself called the Roughneck Warriors. Not long after its creation, Beleg Tessa was invaded by a Rebel guild called DOA (Dissension of Anarchy). When RW and RB discovered that their Imperial backup had been withheld and the rebels deceived into believing that Beleg Tessa was a hostile Imperial training facility, their leaders were shattered. Many of the Brotherhood lost their lives in the encounter, later called the Battle of Beleg Tessa, most notably the council member, Crevossk. Shortly thereafter, the Warriors relocated off planet and the Brotherhood was dismantled. Having been betrayed by the Empire, Lucas took his adopted daughter Nyta Itepi-McCoy, a young Twi'lek girl whom he had rescued from Tusken Raiders in the Tatooine wastes, and those Roughnecks still loyal to him to Dantooine and began working for the Rebellion under the name Roughneck Mercenaries. While with the Roughneck Mercenaries, McCoy allegedly worked with rebel spy Kyle Katarn in the capture of Moff Rebus on Anoat. Also during this time, McCoy began working for the underworld crime boss, Lady Chy'na, a twi'lek, as her personal bodyguard.  Son of Mereel (.5 BBY)On one of his first missions for the Rebel Alliance, not long after the Battle of Yavin, Lucas encountered a fellow Mandalorian that, to his surprise, called himself Jaster Mereel II. Apparently the son of the original Jaster Mereel and Jango Fett's sister Arla. Having not seen another true Mandalorian in decades, the two became close friends and began working together as bounty hunters. Lucas and Jaster were partners for many years.
An Imperial special forces strike team lead by Soul Tilak and the Jedi Craysom Kerzeck later hired Mereel and McCoy. The four, along with Pines and Oakek (two Imperial shock troops) invaded a rebel headquarters on the planet Talus and held the base for three hours while defending against the onslaught of rebel forces trying to take it back. In the end the team (then called "Ghost Legion") was victorious and left the smoldering rebel base with zero casualties. Lucas and Jaster left the team shortly after, embarking on a quest to locate scattered Mandalorians throughout the galaxy. The death of Lucas McCoy (0 ABY)Fresh from a promotion due to the events on Talus, Soul Tilak approached Lucas and Jaster with the job of a lifetime. Soul introduce the two to a Mandalorian named Gaidden Leveth, who informed them that the newly formed Death Watch had set up a bunker on Endor. The three Mandalorians were to escort a strike team (consisting of all the former "Ghost Legion" members) through the bunker and assassinate the Overlord. Soul's plan, however, was to destroy the mines containing the priceless Mandalorian Iron and the crew within it after retrieving enough to study for the Empire. As the Mandalorians collected their mark, the mines began to collapse. The only two people to make it out of the bunker alive were Craysom and Jaster. McCoy was just a few short meters from escape when he was crushed under the weight of the mine ceiling, with only his right hand intact at the edge of the rubble. Jaster returned to Dantooine with the hand to inform Myles and the rest of the Roughneck Mercenaries that Lucas McCoy was dead. The Mandalorian Brotherhood (1-25 ABY) Back from the dead (1 ABY)
Two years passed. During which time a man by the name of Dose Ordo, descendant of Canderous Ordo himself, began to rouse the Mandalorian clans in the galaxy. Joining with Jaster Mereel II and others, he assumed the title of Mandalore and issued orders that Lucas McCoy be cloned from the hand still in Jaster's possession. Dose tracked a rogue Kaminoan to Kaadara on Naboo. There the cloned Lucas was incubated with the original hand until he awoke prematurely. Just as certain clones during the Clone Wars were discovered to spontaneously discover the memories of their original template. In other words, the clone did not awake from the tube, but Lucas McCoy himself, all past memories intact. McCoy smashed his way out of the cloner tube and after being informed of his wife's murder by Imperial troops, he was taken by Jaster to see Dose Ordo on the planet Lok.  Mandalore the Bold (2 ABY)
The Mandalorians were ready for him. Beastacca returned from Dantooine where he had taken over watching for Taylor after his mother's murder. The two of them, along with Myles, were waiting for him when he arrived in the Mandalorian outpost on Lok, called Ashes of Malachor. The city was named by one of Dose's generals, Tannis Naast, who's ancestors died on Malachor V. It was in an underground bunker in Ashes of Malachor that Dose Ordo gave Lucas McCoy his legendary green Mandalorian armor. He was promoted to Ori'vod (general) soon after and and the two worked together to gather all the scattered Mando'ade and begin their new crusade. Lucas and the newly formed Mandalorian Brotherhood ordained Dose, their leader, "Mandalore the Bold". Under his rule they warred not only the Galactic Empire, but the likes of Nym, HK-47, Durge, IG-88's droid army, Axkva Min and her nighsisters, the rogue Blackguard Star Destroyer, the Tusken King, and even the ghost of Sith Lord Exar Kun. Their crusade spanned across the entire galaxy, ending in a climactic battle at Theed Palace. After the Mandalorians burned Theed to the ground following the end of the "E'tad Talyc Crusades", General McCoy returned to Ashes of Malachor where he, his adopted daughter Nyta, adopted son Taylor "Cobrax" (the boy was nicknamed after his old mentor), and his brother Myles lived and operated the city's cantina.  Dathomir Incarceration & The Virus Outbreak (2.5 ABY)Shortly before the Battle of Hoth, Lucas accepted the bounty of a rogue Jedi allegedly on Naboo. During the mission, it was revealed that Mentoc Basterdson, an ally to the Brotherhood, was actually the Jedi Rann Fealome. The battle between Rann and Lucas onboard the Legendary I was so intense that it nearly destroyed the ship. Before they killed one another, the gunboat was captured by an Imperial Star Destroyer. Together, the Jedi and Mandalorian repelled the first several boarding parties, but were eventually captured and sent to the maximum security prison on Dathomir. Stripped of his armor, Lucas was subjected to a barrage of tests and procedures on his unique clone body. He also encountered the zabrak Jedi Sirion, who had been the Padawan to Master Craysom Kerzeck years earlier. Several weeks into their imprisonment, the Blackwing plague outbreak swept through Dathomir. The entire facility was shut down by the riot that ensued as those still living fought to escape or repel the undead. McCoy, freed from his cell, fought his way to the science levels where his equipment was held. There, armored once again, Lucas tortured the scientist that had been experimenting on him over the past few weeks, and discovered that his clone blood was immune to the virus. Once he had finished with the scientist, he set off to find Rann. Fealome, who was scheduled to be executed, was stayed by a timely power outtage when the base shut down. Escaping from his bonds he met McCoy in the courtyard, where he was handed a new double bladed lightsaber. The two fought their way to the roof, defeated hordes of undead and the dark force wielding infected Sirion. Once on the roof, McCoy commandeered Warden Vinzel Haylon's personal shuttle as Rann shoved the warden to the hungry undead waiting below. Their time in air was short lived, as Inquisitor Olof had ordered the prison to be bombarded and the outbreak contained. The shuttle crash landed several hundred meters outside the prison walls, and was consumed by the Dathomir Sarlacc. Lucas and Rann escaped, and were later reunited with a Mandalorian rescue team sent for them.  Joining the Rebellion (3 ABY)
After they returned to Lok, the Empire finally caught up with the Mandalorian Brotherhood in Ashes of Malachor. Though they fought long and hard, the clan suffered heavy casualties and eventually withdrew from the ruins of their once great city to find a new home. With the Empire closing in on them, many in Mandalore Ordo's clan joined the Rebel Alliance. As their first mission as part of the Alliance, General McCoy and Mandalore Ordo took a squad of Mandalorians in to assist in the evacuation of Echo Base. In appreciation for the assistance on Hoth, the Rebellion helped supply Lucas with enough credits to purchase a small city near one of their outposts on Lok. When the rest of the Brotherhood arrived, they dubbed the outpost Ordo Keldab, "stronghold" in Mando'a. The city later grew to rival the size of Ashes of Malachor, and was a home to Mandalorians from around the galaxy. Sacrifice to defeat the Empire (4 ABY) From their outpost on Lok, the Mandalorians spent years gathering their clans, all the while fighting war after war throughout the galaxy. Darth Vader himself even sent his deadliest of agents, the dark jedi Rokos Tepes and his army, and Ordo's Brotherhood obliterated them. In their final mission for the Rebel Alliance, the Mandalorians were approached by an emissary to Mon Mothma. It was about this time that they learned of Boba Fett's apparent death on Tatooine after a group of rebels, lead by Luke Skywalker, freed Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt. Their mission was to infiltrate the construction site of a second Death Star orbiting the moon of Endor and disable it using information supplied by a previous sabotage attempt by Kyle Katarn's SpecForce squad. The Battle of Endor turned out to be a trap by the Emperor to lure the Rebels into an onslaught. There on the Death Star II, Mandalore Dose Ordo gave his life to bring down the core's defense shield around the hypermatter reactor, allowing Wedge Antilles and Lando Calrissian to destroy it. Before his death, Ordo made contact with his second in command, and asked Lucas to take the title of Mandalore and look after his son, Julz Ordo. McCoy swore that he would do so, and the Mandalorian party escaped the station to rally with Fenn Shysa and his clan on Mandalore, where they helped to free the planet from Imperial control. When news of Dose Ordo's death spread, there was no longer any question who the one true leader of the Mandalorian clans was, thus Fenn Shysa fully assumed the title of Mand'alor and called the clans to Mandalore. Rather than seperate the clans once again, McCoy and his clan joined Shysa in rebuilding their home world.  The Yuuzhan Vong & Disappearance (25 ABY)When Boba Fett was apointed Mandalore upon Fenn Shysa's death, and set up once more the capitol of Keldabe on Mandalore, Lucas remained in the outpost on Lok that he had helped found with Dose Ordo. Not many details are known surrounding the events that took place on Lok during the war, but what is confirmed is that Tannis Naast, Llege Onaro, and others lost their lives in the defense of Ordo Keldab. The Yuuzhan Vong were defeated on Lok, however, thanks to the next generation of Mandalorians that the men had helped raise and train. The survivors left the planet to heed the call of Boba Fett on Mandalore after the war with the Vong ended, except for Lucas McCoy and his family.  During the battle at Nym's Stronghold, after the Vong forces had been cut in half, one of their ships broke off from the attack and flew to Ordo Keldab. Those that weren't killed were taken prisoner by the Vong before the rest of the Mandalorians could arrive. As the ship took off it was boarded by Jules Ordo, son of the late Dose Ordo. Lucas, determined to follow them and get the prisoners and Jules back, boarded his gunboat and immediately set off. With his brother, Myles, murdered in defense of the children of Ordo Keldab, and countless others killed or captured, McCoy chased the Vong to the far reaches of the galaxy, eventually catching up near Kessel and the Maw. The McCoys crashed into the coral of the Miid ro'ik vessel and engaged a group of Vong warriors just as Jules was leading the escaped prisoners to a stolen fighter. The two ships soared out of the enemy hangar with the Vong in hot pursuit. The Miid ro'ik gave chase, and within it's belly began to emerge its dread weapon. McCoy drew the ship's attention by firing on the weapon with Taylor and Nyta in the gunship's turrets, giving Jules enough time to escape with the rescued Mandalorians. Flying wildly, Lucas piloted his ship dangerously close to the Maw cluster, hoping their pursuers would give up. They did not, and the McCoys were trapped between the Vong fleet and a cluster of black holes. Jules had managed to enter hyperspace out of the system, carrying with him the final transmission from the "Legendary I". The Miid ro'ik tethered itself to the hull of McCoy's ship, there was no hope for escape. With no other choice, Lucas aimed his vessel at the dark, swirling vortex, engaged a hyperspace trajectory through the black hole, pulling the Vong ship along with him, and was never heard from again.  Physical appearance and personality traitsLucas McCoy wore the traditional armor of a Mandalorian protector. Underneath the armor, his cloned body was strong but incomplete. His skin, having only grown the first layer, was devoid of any hair and pigmentation. As a result, Lucas was unable to stand in direct sunlight without his skin being covered. Veins, arteries, tendons, and muscle tissue were plainly visible through the clear single layer skin covering his body. In several high-friction places, surgical patches were sewn onto his body to prevent infection and constant laceration. All of his internal organs and muscles, however, were completely functional. While as a clone he was infertile, essentially he possessed the mind of an experienced and aged Mandalorian warrior in the body of a man half his age. McCoy considers himself an abomination, and utilizes every possible moment of his second life as a means to educate and train the next generation of Mandalorians. To them he was stern but unquestionably loyal and protective, often using his gruff demeanor as a way of making young vode'ika figure things out for themselves.
Regardless of his appearance and demeanor, Lucas had a seemingly endless harem of women that kept him company in between his travels. They were as varied in species and race, as they were in status and profession. Little is known about the women that he ever became close enough to fall in love with, as he kept those details from anyone else. Among the women in his life were Nefereri Itepi, Ymeg, Nyxom, Ella, Tra, Zazy, Kierra, Braeden, and even rumored encounters with Jaina Solo and Natasi Daala. McCoy possed an extreme hatred for anything to do with the Jedi. During Order 66 it was rumored that he and the young Boba Fett were the only man alive to have killed as many Jedi as Darth Vader and the Empire itself. This hatred finally eased after being incarcerated with the Jedi Rann Fealome on Dathomir.  Equipment and weaponsArmor/clothingMcCoy's armor, like the man that wore it, cracked and faded under the suns of hundreds of planets during his travels. He was rarely ever seen without his armor, only to those closest to him. His armor's green plates, given to him as a gift by fallen Mandalore Dose Ordo, were dulled and weathered. He wore a black jumpsuit and stated on several occasions that he hated jetpacks and is an advocate that no Mandalorian should wear them in combat. Weapons Aside from the many hidden armaments within his beskar'gam, McCoy carries two main blaster weapons. A BlasTech Industries compact E-13 Assault Rifle, which is a non-detectable long range rifle capable of penetrating not only armor and metal but often several layers of dirt and rock. As a sidearm McCoy carries a Nomad Arms P-53 Hydra pistol as it is a favorite antique weapon among Mandalorian mercenaries. His gauntlets house a cortosis-edged vibroblade, grappling lanyard, poison darts, wrist laser, flame thrower, and data keypad to access his ship's computer from the ground. On some occasions McCoy has been seen carrying a Stouker concussion rifle, specifically when hunting force-using targets. Though the weapon could not be blocked with a lightsaber, it's concussion blast could be redirected with a well timed force push. On more than one hunt he nearly sustained considerable injury after jumping and firing the weapon at the floor below him in order to catch his quarry in the blast. StarshipAlthough he owned many starships, McCoy's favored vessel is a Blacksun AEG-77 Vigo that belonged to his grandfather. He has renovated it from the Mandalorian Civil War days from a dungeon gunship to an armed fortress and renamed it the "Legendary I". Through many heavy and illegal modifications, McCoy was able to single-handedly assault Imperial Star Destroyers. The craft was slow, but had enough firepower and defenses to fend off nearly any attacker. Behind the scenes
