Koza Teroch (Koza meaning "Goat", and Teroch meaning "Pitiless") has been a mystery for historians and archiologists alike. His origins are shrouded in mystery, having appeared throught the galaxy's history since long before the Rakatan pempire. It's speculation that the name Koza simply a family name that's passed down through the generations. His appearance has also been disputed, as some of the earliest records place him as a child of 10 years old fighting in full fledge combat with the Jedi during the Sith Wars, while other accounts have him even as far back, as before the Rakatan Empire was even established.

There is currently a running investigation into this person, funded by private investors of royal hierarchy. This group collects whatever information they can in an attempt to answer the mystery. Non have met, or even encountered Koza hismelf, even though he has made more frequent appearences in recent decades. It is unknown what this group's true intentions are, and considering the investors are of high royalty from across the galaxy, the reasons could be many.

Biography

Early years (64,398-? BBY)

First appearing on the young world of Coruscant, which by this time had already become a City Planet, Koza, age 23, served as a security officer, patroling the crime ridden lower levels of the Galctic City. Twenty-four years later, he became the Chief Superintendent of the the "Coruscanti Security", having prooven himself capable of combating the underworld of orignized crime that was ridden throughout Galactic City. After setting policy and restructering the Courscanti Security Forces for eighteen more years, Koza resigned and dissapeared. Documents of the time report he was pressured and eventually blackmailed into leaving by Corsucant's own government. The reason and details of the blackmail is unknown, as a result of news casts and document having been reportedly destroyed.

Genetic Epsiodes

It's suspected that around this time, Koza was kidnapped by a scientist, and put under forced genetic experiments. It is unclear what the reason behind these experiments were, but the goal was to "create artificial hybrids from two unrealated species and/or genders" as Koza explained himself. He and others were part of the first step, which was to ascertain if certain related spieces, such as two reptilian species, primeape species, insectoid psieces, ect, could be joined, respectivly between species types, into hybrids.

It is unknown what other experiment(s) Koza went through himself, however his human appearence hasn't seemed to change, expect for the brown-furred, primeape like tail. It is rumored, however, that during events of high tension, his body changes some what. How this effects him phsycially and/or mentally in the long and short term is still unknown.

King

Freed from the scientist from a near by kingdom, who themselves had suffered kidnapping from the same scientist, he was adopted by the then King and Queen of the so called "Sun Kingdom". It was, however, in a vain effort to stay in control, as their 30 year term as joint-rulers was coming to an end, and they did not wish for their only son and daughter to have the thrones. Although they tried to brain wash Koza, he quickly became realized to the situation, and became friends with his new siblings and great-grandfather. He kept the relationships in secret, however, because he wanted to make sure that his siblings received the thrones. In his eyes, they deserved it. Both of them cared for the people, and he respected that to no end.

Some months later, he had soon fallen in love with the female Grand General, and Guardian of the government, Katia, who was tasked with training Koza in the Kingdom's culture. They were engaged only a few short years after, but tragedy struck when war broke out only a day before the wedding. Five months into the war, Koza's adopted parents were killed, so he took the mantle of Kingship upon the behest of his siblings and other Generals, along with Katia as Queen. Although not married, they didn't need to be to carry the titles. The law stated that two had two rule at once, one male and one female, along with the provisional senate, related, married, or otherwise. However, Koza and Zubaida had complete control during wartime, with the senate as military advisors. His shitory with the Coruscanti Security force helped him greatly when fighting in the war, and simoltanisouly retraining the old fashioned, Napoleonic-like Grand Army.

Two months later, Katia was helping to cover the retreat of the right flank of the BeCo'lin Battlefield. It was one of the bloodiest battlefields of the war, and the most drawn out battle as well. She ended up fighting against the opposing army's General, Arkana, one-on-one. He lead her into a mine field after a grueling duel, where he detonated the mines around her. Although she survived, she was mortally wounded to the extent of losing most of her limbs, and ahving massive internal injuries. The last few remaining soldiers fought off the opposing forces before retreating behind the reinforced flanking line, bringing what was left of her body to the rear. Koza went to her as soon as he could, only to see a crippled and dieing heap of a body. She was recognizable, but no longer the radiant muscle bearing woman that she once was. At least, to everyone else. She died in his arms a few hours later. They never married, and the war still drudged on.

One more month passed, and both sides had seen casualties in the tens of thousands. Both were running short on supplies and medicines. Deiciding to follow the old triditons of his Army, sent a proposal to Arkana for a one-on-one duel to determine the war. Arkana accepted, and the battlefields were cleared of all soldiers to their respective sides, as per their agreement. They exchanged words as they met in the center, and the duel began. From small arms fire to melee combat, their fight lasted for hours, neither willing to give ground. In the end, Koza won out, killing Arkana. The opposing army left in accord with the deal, and he set foreword to reconstruct his people’s home.

It took many years, but the economy was finally becoming restored, much of the kingdom nearing it's once gleaming apeal. Under special dispensation from the senate, Koza's great-grandfather had taken up the mantle of leadership with him during the latter part fo the War, but had fallen ill, and died after the war. A short time later, and against the wishes and protests of the people, and even his siblings, he abdicated the thrown, naming his siblings the new Royal Crowns. He left as soon as he could, taking very little with him. He didn't say where he was going, or if he'd ever be back.

As this whole story was supposedly told directly from Koza himself, to a group of Hutts who had captured him, it is unknown if this pieces of history is true, or just an elabrate story to apease the hutts. Currently, there is no matching culture, whether extinct or current, that matches any found on record.

War of the Star Forge (3,959-3,596 BBY)

Two years before Darth Revan and Darth Malak reapeare, Koza was found a drift in orbit of the planet Kubindi, by a Jedi Knight who was about to return to Coruscant after a fatal mission. Though Koza was without any space gear, the Jedi Knight, Jesre'a Lil'lok, could still feel that he was barely alive, and brought him onboard. Jesre'a took him back to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, though he did not wake untill three days later.

When he did awake, he was questioned by the Jedi Council. Although he didn't plain where he came from, he did say that the proximity of Kubindi to the Maw Cluster was why he ended up in orbit. but why Kubindi in particular, he couldn't, or to some of the suspicions of the council, wouldn't. Some Jedi suspected that he was some kind of force child, caused by the Silver Forest of Dreams, a dark side force nexus on Kubindi. However, his devoid connection of the force, similar to the Yuuzhan Vong of the future, confused to them. They decided to keep him in the Temple and watch over him. It wasn't long before they discovered his past on Coruscant, and became an ally of the Jedi, deciding to stay and train with them. By the time Darth's Reven and Malak retured to the known galaxy, Koza had been inducted as an honorary Jedi, not only for his service, but also for his abilities that were similar to what force users displayed.

When the Jedi Civil War started, or War of the Star Forge as the Mandalorians called it, Koza started a Jedi special operations unit to help withthe war effort. Though succesful in most of it's missions, the Sith invasion of Revan and Malak still pushed foreward, the Republic losing much ground. Deciding to take an even more drastic approach, Koza left the Jedi to joined the ranks of the Sith Troopers as a double agent. Only three others from the Jedi Spec Ops unit were authorized to go on such a missions, but their involvement and any connection to Koza outside of the war is still unknown.

Rising quickly within the ranks, Koza became a field general, and controlled a fleet that operated in the western quadrent of the Galaxy. However, this merely allowed him to not only pass tactical knowledge to the Republic, but to also use subterfuge to create problems within the enemie's ranks, and to thawrt many of the Sith's victories.

Clone Wars (22-19 BBY)

One of the most recent records place him, and his daughter Carol, during the Clone Wars, serving as a civilian specialist in the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR), on the Republic Assault Ship (RAS) Gravity. He assisted the lone ship on a special operations mission to the outer rim, assisting in blocking Separatist’s (Seps) attempts at buying supplies through the black market, and preventing the Hutt Empire from joining the Seps. He and his daughter are supposedly to have been inducted as Mando'ade by the Cuy'val Dar, Molina Kelchek, who had decided to serve with the clones that she had trained. It is suspected that his wife would later be inducted as a Mando'ad as well. Koza was given a spare set of Mk2 Republic Commando armor, and his daughter a spare ser of Phase 1 clone armor. They modified them to their liking as newly inducted Mando'ade. However, latest records have him wearing a different set of armor. He was also given a custom DC-15s side arm.

Having only served about six months tour aboard the Gravity, which was all they were allowed by their government, they returned to their home. Some months later, he, his daughter, and his wife, Saita, were later seen involved in a few more conflicts through out the Clone Wars. It was also said that he brought his own ship and crew on an authorised "exploration" mission from his government. The terms and objectives of this mission is still unknown, though some speculate that the main objective was to make a peace treaty with the Republic, since Koza himself met with Chancelor Palpatine. But no such document was ever found, or was a recording found of any kind. Investigation showed that all recording devices were turned off during that meeting.

The life of a Merc (Present ABY)

Recent sightings place him working with the new Mandalorians under Boba Fett's command, as well as with the Jedi, Empire, and New Republic respectively. It is suspected that this current Koza Teroch, if a decendent, is between the ages of at least 400-500. If he were the original, he would be 64,421 years old.

Physical Appearance and Personality Traits

An average build, standing only 5'8". He was a brown furred tail which is a result of genetic experiments. He has no dicernable scars or markings, even though his body is ridden with cybernetics.

Koza can be a harsh commander when the need arises, but prefers to be less firm with his command, as long as everyone is doing their job. He also does whatever he can to take care of those under his command, seeing them as his responsibility, even to his own death. He loves to fight, but doesn’t let his excitement get in the way of his objectives.

Equipment

Weapons

King Sword - Made of exotic metals, this one of-a-kind sword can block lightsabers because of the type of forging used. Using super charged plasma fires, charged plasma particles get trapped within the folded alloys, not only giving it superb strength and durability, but also makes it resistant to rust, so is easier to maintain. However, the particles make it heavier, therefore a bit of a challenge to handle. It's a double edged curved saber, with a two handed grip. The blade sports a blue anodized color when in full contact, a result of the plasma particles being excited. It was supposedly given to him when he ascended to the thrown of the Sun Kingdom.

DE-10 Heavy Blaster Pistol - Standard heavy blaster pistol. He carries one on his right each leg. It has been engraved like old military side arms, hinting to his past as a commander or general.

DC-15s Side Arm/Custom - Given to him by the Clone Troopers aboard the RAS Gravity. It was modified to be a type of mini DC-17m blaster rifle, sporting a mid-range snipping attachment, and a 3 round-burst attachment, both with magazine slots for added ammo. It also sports a stun setting without the need for an attachment, that packs as much punch as the new PEP attachment for the DC-17m, but you only get two shots before it has to recharge. The power indicator bar extends back as a shoulder stock, and a special vertical grip can be attached below the barrel. In the normal pistol mode, the power in each blaster bolt has been risen by 15% over the original, although the rate of recharge and fire are the same.

Helmet

Having been mostly damaged in battle, and the only salvageable part of the RC armor, it has been modified to work with his new armor. It sports advanced sub-space communications and sensor packages, giving him unparalled situational awareness.

Armor/clothing

As a fix between his Republic Commando armor and his latest armor build, he temporally wore triditional Mandalorian armor. He later modifed this armor to wear on a more constant basis.

Emphasized with Pauldren armor, his new armor seems to be more of a customized uniform of some unknown military. Data entry is capable using the touch screen on the left gauntlet. A small, detachable backpack seems to be a repulser and jet pack hybrid, allowing for high mobility in an atmosphere and space. It also features magnetic boots. However, this new armor is rarely used.[1]

Ships

Kappa-class transport shuttle called the Bottle-Nose. It's hull has been replaced with a higher density plating and six torpedo launchers (1 fore/aft; 2 port/starboard). The inside has also been remodeled to be a living space, and the rear space that originaly held two AT-PT's, now has four holding cells and three small Aurek-Fighters, achieved after expanding the rear space when updated engines were installed.

The three Aurek-Fighters belong each to Koza and his family. They were scrounged from a junk yard and updated to modern technology, including making it a dual engine set up instead of a single engine housing. Though uniform on the outside, from the weapon systems to engine configuration and s-foils, the cockpit is entirely customized to to each pilot's preferences. Koza uses a dual horizontal joystick on either side of the cockpit, both of which control the throttle of either engine respectively, and it has a radar like dome in center/console. The cockpit canapy is a huge HUD like video screen, allowing the pilot to have all flight and mission information while having a full 360 degree view. Dispite each cockpit being personalized, each three fighters have the same "canapy HUD".

Behind the scenes

  • In the Croation language, the word "koza" means "goat".
  • In the fictional Mando'a language, the language of the Mandalorians, the word "teroch" means "pitiless".
  • The name of the Kappa-class shuttle, Bottle-Nose, is a reference to Dolphins on earth. The name was derived from part of the prologue of the book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams, which reads: It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. For instance, on the planet Earth, Man had always assumed that he was the most intelligent species occupying the planet, instead of the *third* most intelligent. The second most intelligent were of course dolphins, who had long known of the impending destruction of earth. They had on many occasions tried to alert mankind but their warnings were mistakenly interpreted as amusing attempts to punch footballs or whistle for titbits. The last ever dolphin message was misinterpreted as a suprisingly sophisticated attempt at doing a double backflip through a hoop while whistling the star-spangled banner. But in fact, the message was this: So long and thanks for all the fish.
  • As apposed to popular belief, Star Trek and Star Wars both rock! To proove they can coincide, Koza Teroch's armor is based on Mandalorian Armor, and the specilized uniform used in the game series "Star Trek: Elite Force".
  • I'm not ticklish
