Biography
Although Ti’Meshla Akaan is now known as a ruthless Mercenary, willing to destroy any who gets in the way of his contract, he began his life in a much different light.
Kale Trott, as he was so named by his birth parents, was once the heir to a family fortune and a vast estate on Coruscant. But as fate would have it, this was not to be his destiny.
While on a pleasure cruise to the outer rim with his parents and younger sister, the Cruise Liner fell suddenly under attack. The unknown attackers were in appearance what could only be described as Demons with disfigured faces and horrific horns growing from their bodies.
The Demonic assailants tore viciously at the ship with strange weapons, and spoke in a language not known to Kale. When his parents realized what was happening, they ordered Kale to hide in an air duct, and his sister to hide in a near by locker.
There Kale waited, numb with fear, as the Demons rampaged through the ship, killing all who stood in their way and destroying every droid in their path. Though Kale had assumed these vicious marauders were Pirates, they didn’t seem to be interested in any of the many fine jewels adorning the passengers.
When the Marauders reached his cabin, they made short work of his parents. Lashing out with strange whips, his parents had little chance to defend themselves. They fell to the deck and writhed in pain before slowly, their eyes locked on Kale’s own, grew dull as the life left them. Hearing a faint whimper from the locker his sister was hiding in, the Demons ripped open the door and ran her through with a large blade. Mercy was clearly not a concept known to these beasts.
Kale continued to hide, shaking with fear and rage, as the Demons continued their destructive path through the Cruise Liner, until they seamed satisfied that all passengers and droids were destroyed. Many hours after the demons had disembarked the vessel, Kale finally emerged from his hiding place. Walking through the corridors, he took in the death which now surrounded him, memorizing each face twisted in horror. Burning each set of lifeless eyes into his mind; twisting his sense of humanity with each frozen stare.
Eventually, after many days of work, he managed to jettison all of the bodies into space. His parents and sister, however, he left in their cabin, sealing the door, entombing them forever. For many weeks Kale wandered through the ghost ship’s silent halls, unsure of what the fates had in store for him. He was positive that his fate was to die, like the crew and passengers, lost and alone.
After a time, the Liner was discovered by a salvage crew of Mercenaries. The men took pity on the boy and adopted him into their crew. Over the next thirteen years the Mercenaries trained Kale in what they called the Mandalorian way. One of the men took a special interest in the boy’s training, and imparted to Kale an ideal which he remembered as the Death Watch.
Many years of training and many more contracts with the Mercenaries had built in the young man a confidence that he had never before known. Eventually, Kale took on the name Ti’Meshla Akaan; Mando’a for “With Beautiful War”, and parted ways with his surrogate family to forge his destiny.
Physical Appearance
Ti’Meshla Akaan has, in the past, been referred to as “ruggedly Handsome” by some. However, because of his reluctance to remove his Helmet outside the sanctuary of his Ship, few people have ever actually seen his face.
Personality
Twisted by the tragic events of his childhood, Ti’Meshla maintains a stark disregard for life, and thus has a general silent air about him. When not pursuing a contract, he spends his free time cleaning his weapons and equipment, and mounting any newly acquired trophies to the bulkheads of his vessel.
