Quote Template

Quotes can be a powerful tool here on the MercsWiki. It can be used to add a lot of flavor to a character page, or it can serve as a point of reference for others to view important passages from documents, such as direction for a particular costuming tool.

To create a quote on a Wiki page, first make sure you are logged in. If you don't have an account, and would like one, please PM Thaxos. When on the page you wish to add a quote to, click the "Edit" button on the dark menu at the top of the page. This will bring you to the Edit page. Simple find the place on the page where you'd like to add a quote, and use the following code to write out your quote.

Type out two squiggly brackets, and then type out the word "Quote". Next, place a separator (Press Shift and the backslash key to create the following symbol: | ). Now, type out the quote, with no quotation marks. The system will automatically display those. Next, place another separator ( | ), followed by the name of the person who said or wrote the content you are displaying. Then close with two more squiggly brackets, facing the opposite direction. Below is a coded section that will accurate show you how this is done. You can copy/paste this code onto your own page.
