The Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club is the world's elite Mandalorian costume organization. With over 45 chapters in 12 countries around the world, members of Mercs take part in a wide range of activities, including local and international conventions, charity events, and fan gatherings. Founded in March 2007, the Mercs grew rapidly from a core of 3 members to now over 450 across the globe.

The goal of Mandalorian Mercs is to provide a nexus for Mandalorian costumers, giving them a collective identity and representation within the Star Wars costuming community. We are passionate about the armor we wear, and use it not only to promote the Star Wars universe, but as a tool for charity.

The world was first introduced to the Mandalorian character Boba Fett in the film "The Empire Strikes Back". Though Boba Fett was the 'first' Mandalorian, he certainly wasn't the only one, and as the world of Star Wars grows and defines itself, so too does the Mandalorian costume and 'culture.' We are unique among Star Wars fan groups in that our chosen niche allows for your imagination to be let loose through costuming. Prospective members are encouraged to be creative while staying within the club's costuming standards. While we pride ourselves on being an inclusive organization, we do ask that you put forth as much effort as you can in building your costume. We take pride in our ability to assist both novice and veteran costumer alike, and have an extensive library of resources and an active and helpful forum to direct your efforts.

Here on the MercsWiki, you'll find several unique sections. Our Archives section is written by a resident Historian and contains histories of clans, projects, and the organization itself. Our Tutorials section contains articles on important costuming subjects which you may find useful in your building. Our Articles section contains general information about Mandalorians, their history, and the evolution of the idea of Mandalorians throughout Star Wars history. Finally, our "Mandalorians" sections contain wiki entries for our members who have put time and effort into writing out their characters history and character.
