Biography

Early years (39 - 22 BBY )

The Ker family migrated from the war torn world of Balmorra to Mandalor in the year 107 BBY. Eurok Ker was born as a fourth generation Mandalorian in the year 39 BBY. Eurok, the only son of Gaven Ker was trained by his farther in combat and marksmanship as a child and into his adolescent years.

Adulthood (22 - ? BBY )

When the Clone Wars broke out in 22 BBY, Mandalor maintained its neutral status. At that time Eurok was seventeen and decided to leave Mandalor and enlist into the Army of the Republic, determined to maintain the honor of his family’s name. Eurok served as a member of an elite force in the 104th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion.

He was trained as a Pilot and Attack Recon Specialist. Serving in Charley Company, or known by the Battalion as Reaper Company. The company chose tan and grey as their colors and wore them proudly. Eurok's skills served him well as he became a respected member of the company.

Eurok Ker soon became an officer and fashioned his own armor in the form of the traditional Mandalorian armor. Selecting blue (loyalty) as his own personal color, he covered the upper part of his armor with tribal designs representing his Mandalorian manhood. As the commander of Alpha Squad, he lead numerous missions against the CIS. The Company flew one of the Republic’s best star fighters, the V-Wing.

Engaging and destroying the CIS forces became a specialty of Reaper Company 104th, so much so, that they were often tasked on deep reconnaissance missions to uncover any plots the CIS could cook up. Getting in and out of a hornet’s nest with good intelligence was top priority, staying alive was second. If any clankers caught wind of them, they didn’t last too long to tell anyone.

After the Republic fell to the masterminds of the Empire in the year 19 BBY, Eurok soon found out that independent thinkers were not wanted. The clones that Eurok considered brothers and fought alongside for so many years remained loyal to one thought, fulfilling the Empires every command without question. Eurok couldn’t remain a mindless servant to the Empire and decided to work outside of border of the Empire’s vast army, as a Mercenary for hire. Eurok’s skills were noticed by the Hapan and soon found himself at the controls of a Miy’til Fighter. For years he preformed top priority missions, which gained Eurok favor throughout their leadership. When they parted ways, Eurok was able to purchase a modified Miy’til Fighter from the Hapan, which he symbolically named Reaper.

As luck would have it, Eurok stumbled upon a clan of fellow Mandalorians. The clan’s name was Mav oya’la. Finally getting back to his roots, Eurok would get to fight with a group of skilled warriors, his new clan of brothers and sisters.

Physical Appearance

Eurok Ker is Average height, athletic build, brown hair, blue eyes, and carries himself in a professional, military manner while occasionally cracking a smile.

Personality

Eurok most often conducts himself in a military manner, using his core values of Leadership, Respect, Duty, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage as a template for his character.

Eurok is always ready to serve others and protect those around him. He was a strong leader during the Clone Wars but now he often finds himself on solo missions, trying to keep a low profile and keep others out of harms way.

Eurok insists that the team is only as strong as its weakest link and drives to insure that his knowledge is passed on to others so that the end goal is to have a team that continually fills and cracks in its armor, creating an unbreakable bond between brothers.

Official Status

-Became an official Mandalorian Merc #394, in October 2010

-Promoted to Alor'ruus (Corporal) for mid Pennsylvania in April 2011 – June 2011

-Became the first official Reconnaissance Mandalorian in the Recon Division of the Special Operations Brigade in April 2011

-Elected as Ruus'alor (Sergeant of arms) for the eastern region of Pennsylvania in June 2011

Eurok Ker, a member of the Pennsylvania clan, Mav Oya' la, falls under the eastern region of the United States. The eastern region covers Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Arkansas, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.

Brigade: Special Operations

Eurok Ker became the first Reconnaissance Division Mandalorian serving under the Special Operations Brigade.

Personal Clan Logo

After becoming a member of Mav Oya’la Clan, each member is given their own personalized clan badge. Badges are typically worn on the left shoulder.

Armor/clothing

After becoming an officer in the Republic, Eurok created his own armor embracing his Mandalorian background while keeping true to his company's colors of tan and grey. Eurok took blue (loyalty) from his family crest and added it to his own armor while wearing a navy blue flight suit instead of the typical black. The blue designs covering the upper portion of Eurok's armor are representative of his tattoos covering his back and shoulders, his mark of Mandalorian manhood.

Weapons

The gauntlets are the basic weapon for any Mandalorian and are always customized for the needs of that Mando, Eurok is not any different. His right gauntlet is equipped with a mini flame thrower, a smoke screen device, and emergency locator beacon. The left gauntlet is equipped with another mini flame thrower and a mini plasma cutter. Both gauntlets contain two interchangeable canisters of a compressed compound used to fuel the flame throwers and a screening device for a short duration without the need of an external fueling apparatus.

The Beskade, a traditional Mandalorian knife was fashioned by Eurok after his induction into Mav Oya’la clan. It was tradition in clan Mav Oya’la to give each new member a Beskade to symbolized the brotherhood between each member of the clan. After the clone wars, supply of the precious medal used to make each Beskade was exhausted and in strict demand. Eurok, wanting to show his clan pride, went on a search for a small amount of this medal and fashioned his own Beskade after the clan’s traditional style, engraving it with the clan’s name and his own in Mandalorian script.

Eurok Ker’s Mid Range Blaster is a modified DC-15A Blaster Rifle, fashioned during his service with the Republic Army. It has a max accurate range of six hundred meters and is armor piercing up to three hundred meters. The stock was removed and modified to make it easier to use the long range scope for extended periods of time.‎

‎The Plasma Cannon was designed to have two different functions. Mode A was for basic defense. A normal blast could be produced but did not have the same semi automatic reload speed as a typical DC-15A blaster. Mode B was for tank busting. After a charge time of seven seconds the Plasma Cannon could project a large blast strong enough to penetrate most CIS armored vehicles at close to medium range.

‎Eurok’s customized Pistol Blaster is a rapid fire blaster with a low over-heat capability. The blaster can fire up to twenty shots in ten seconds before overheating.

Behind the scenes

Eurok Ker’s real name is Kristopher. Much like every Mandalorian Merc , I have been a fan of Star Wars since I was a kid. Discovering the club in the fall of 2010 gave me another avenue in which I could use my artistic creativity, as a hobby, to develop costumes which in the past have included Renaissance fairs, Anime conventions, and almost every type of Halloween costume under the sun.

For the past 11 years I have been serving in the Army National Guard as a Pilot in Command of the AH-64A Apache helicopter. While I have always wanted to serve in the Military, flying the Apache has become a dream job that has met my every expectation.

I have a degree in Art/ Graphic Design and love to create and design things that inspire and excite others. I have recently resigned from the Army and look forward to serving God and my wife as a civilian in the next chapter of my adventure.

I really enjoy participating as a Mandalorian Merc, as everyone in this club does, and we should have as much fun with this as possible but don't let this take over your life or become an idol. Priority should always be God and family. God Bless
