Mercs "Kidsflix Hobart" Invasion Debriefing

Invasion Location:  "Kidsflix" Hobart, Tasmania (AUS)
Date: July 21, 2012
Clan Involved: Sandhawk
Mission Objective: To invade the inaugural Tasmanian Kidsflix, a national program of the Arthritis Foundation for children with a disability, chronic illness or social disadvantage and their families to do something together.

Invasion Report: The lone Merc from the Sandhawk Clan on the island state heeded the call to support the event which had been running in other capital cities around the country for a number of years. Rallying  the support of the local 501st members of the Thylacine Squad to bolster the numbers, Cogsbravo headed south to Hobart from his outpost in the north of the state.

The event was a huge success with well over 200 kids and their families turning up for the morning activities and movie screening.  Smiles where wide when both children and adults alike saw the costumed warriors at the front doors to the cinema, high fives and photos a plenty were taken all round.

The event was such a success that the organiser had confirmed that it would be an annual event and another was to be planned in Launceston as well.
