So this has happened since I was last here:

Biggest lesson learned: toothpaste beats the crap out of masque stuff when it comes to locating/removing weathering.

I want to do a cape in the vein of one of Starkiller's costumes from F.U.:

My character is a nomad with a burned face (which is reflected in some intense weathering which will adorn one side of his helm). It would serve the dual-purpose of covering my back and face. What do you guys think?

I know a guy in AZ with a wrap like that. It looks great, but he sweats like CRAZY in it. I dunno how he doesn't get heat stroke, lol.

Karvas: Thanks for the tip! I'll either blackwash it tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully it comes out looking even 1/100th as good as yours.  :o
