Yo Hombre's, So i don't generally do WIP threads, but mein friendlies in the Vok'Chi (I'm looking at you, Remo.) have been poking me to do one so they know i'm not being a lazy bum and i am actually working on pretty things.
As this is mostly true (I'm fairly lazy, but i have been known to take breaks from that to make pretty things for a while) i figured i'd throw one up.
I haven't ventured into the armour boards for a while, but whatever.
FIRST, A HISTORY LESSON, IN THE ILLUSTRIOUS PAST OF THE VARIOUS PLASTIC I'VE BEEN WEARING.
V1 Kit, my official one, After much modding and upgrades over a few yearsi decided there was nothing further i could do with it and the fact i'd simply used low-grade parts wasn't something i could work around, so this was scrapped.
V2 Kit, Never applied in, was worn once. Had an idea in my head, wanted to try this colour scheme, and proceeded to leave the whole thing minus the bucket (which was unpainted), with all its ordered parts unbuilt, till 2 days before a con. Cue frantic 2 days building both the gauntlets, cutting the vacuformed plates out and building it, rigging it all up, then painting everything. Came out surprisingly well for 36 hours of solid work, fuelled only by vodka and loud music.
Incidentally, i hated this kit utterly, couldn't weather it well at all with the colours it had, and as such never wore it again.
SO, new kit! Will be basically the black/blue one, with some additions, rebuilt left gaunt, new upper chestplate and a backpack from a Repcomm kit, and legplates rigging redone so that Kris doesn't have to constantly fix it for me.
Also, colours will be either white and red, or veeeery light grey and red, depending on what paints i can find.
Blue/Black as it stands, will all be repainted

Repcomm Chest so far, still need to finish the rigging, add the pouch, and add a tube to the chest to attach rubber tubing to to connect to the backpack. so yeah, basically barely started, but i have it! and the kit for the backpack is sitting around... Somewhere? in my room, i think. under something.

Pistol WIP, still need to get a diagonal mount and a scope for it, which are in the post.
So yeah, basically sod all to show, i tend not to do WIP threads until i have something either finished or near-finished to flaunt, but have been asked to post this up a few times now, so i figured i'd be a right gent and actually bother.
I'll update this when i have more to show! (Or not, if i forget about it, which is quite likely. But it has to be done by july for the next con, so progress shall be made. giving myself plenty of time this time around.)
