Mercs "Dallas Comic Con" Invasion Debriefing

Location: "Dallas Comic Con" – Irving, TX (USA)
Date: May 19-20 2012
Clans Involved: Ge'tal Vheh, Murraan
Mission Objective: Rock Comic con with Star Wars goodness

Invasion Report: Comic Con began at 9am with lines a mile long. Amazing costumes and people, new friends and old meeting in one place for geeks and nerds alike. While working through the lines, the clans were stopped for many photo opps and conversations with Star Wars fans.

One highlight of the weekend for Destroyer was when asked to take a photo with a little girl, her mom had said it was her birthday, so Destroyer keyed up his mic and made a public announcement that it was her birthday and everyone should tell her Happy Birthday... Almost 200 con goers sang her Happy Birthday right there... It was a feel good moment.

Once inside the con itself, the clans were swarmed by Fan Boys and Fan Girls alike, making a route to see  the man himself Jeremy Bulloch... Once there, we had a great conversation with him from being the 500th member to armor building, he truly was an awesome guy to talk to. Athough the Ge'tal Vheh clan and Murraan clan where never there at the same time and place, all trooped that con with the same spirit.
