Mission Objective: Entertain the hundreds of customers waiting in line for the midnight release of the Free Comic Book Day comics; meet and greet, stop for photos and answer the many questions about the Star Wars costuming community in general.
Invasion Report: The Great Lakes Base invited Rancor Clan up to Carol and John's Comics for the midnight Free Comic Book Day party they have each year. This was the first time the Rancor Clan has made it up to this event, but it surely won't be the last. The event was packed with hundreds of die hard comic fans ready to get their hands on the new releases. Members from the Rancor Clan, Great Lakes Base, and Ohio Garrison were busy keeping the crowd in check by pausing for pictures, asking questions, and helping them answer some of the trivia games being played for prizes.
Highlights of the night included several comic book artists handing out their own artwork, special early access to the new Star Wars comic that was released, and meeting aspiring mercs that are already active on the forum!
