Great News:  ;D
This was announced by a friend of mine on facebook, it's true.
Knoxville AdventureCon is back! As most of the local crowd know, AdventureCon changed hands about 4-5 years ago and sadly went into disarray. But now it's back, Being run/organized/managed by the ORIGINAL owner and founder. If you are into sci-fi, horror, fantasy, costume, alternative conventions, please go like their new page. Thanks!

I was really saddened when they suddenly changed the date/location - and that those changes were horrible for convention-goers.


If we can manage the funds, and if this looks to be a good convention again after the first year back, we might make it down in the future again for this.

it was supposedly back last year too in knoxville, but the website was so crappy and event was so vague that they cancelled it due to the amount of negative attention it got

This is the original MMCC con, so I'd be thrilled if it came back in force.  Bio and I probabyl couldn't make it EVERY year, but we may be able to manage non-celebration years.  :)

True Lucas, but that because it was runned by the ding dongs who owned it last, but now it is being runned by the original owner n founder of Aventurecon, In character as Darth Revan, I forsee this to be a great Con Again.

I think if this actually manages to take off again, I'd definitely have to make a trip out for it. I miss AdCon.

And that got under alot of the dealers skins with their lack of communication.

Oooh, I'd be up for this again.  It's like the "mid-east" con.  Located centrally enough that folks from all around it can get to it.  Keeping my eye on this.
