Bucket WIP

Thought I would start a WIP on my bucket, still lot's to do, weathering, RF, finding bits of liquid masking still to take off 

Comments and criticism welcome. I personally didn't like  it's look so far,  but it is starting to grow on me.

Base coat - aluminium





Next coat  - Gloss Black





And then final coat of prismatic, with accent of gloss red, with pearl

Outside in normal British weather (cloudy  )





Inside under artificial lighting








Just trying too hold out from starting again, to see if I come around to how it looks. Maybe after weathering a little...

Nice job vod, I really like the paint job. It's eye catching without being to flashy.

Looks Ok to me. Only thing is, you'll need to replace that visor, there's rar too many creases in the the window tint.

I like the metallic finish!  I would add some fine scratches, a grime wash and you should be set!

I think the Metallic paint is looks pretty darn cool...  maybe just dirty it up a bit, but otherwise....

You found stealth rainbow paint and it is glorious.  My black paint seems very dull and boring now.

Looks Ok to me. Only thing is, you'll need to replace that visor, there's rar too many creases in the the window tint. 

I think it's the protective plastic sheet over the visor... Not the tint...

OK, based on the responses from my fellow Vod, I have carried out a little more on this.  Looking OK ? Do think the weathering has toned it down a little.


Remo -  Redone the visor (or removed the protective sheet )

LMAO!!! Great sense of humor! I like this much better now! It toned it down, but still has the cool effect.

Visor looks much better now hope taking the sheet off didn't take too long 

Rest of the helmet still has the awesome rainbow effect, but the weatherbeaten look takes away the 'oooooh shiny' response.
Can't wait to see what you do with the rest of the armour now. Is that rainbow logo going to become a theme beacuse I think it'd look stunning on a chest piece.

I like where this is going. It will make you individual and stand out at cons and events, which is good!

I may however call you Geoffrey or bungle when we are on a con together ( but only over the private intercom)
