Thank you for breaking down the bondo application. I've never used it before and this helps a lot

Added tracer coat. A light mist coat of flat black.

Wet sanded a spot with 400 grit.

See how the scratch stayed black when wet sanded? That shows the low spot. Block sand that area to level out that scratch.

After block sanding, the scratch still looks to be there, but it is not. That is the scratch filled with the primer.

Light coat of matte silver. This will show through in spots that I choose for weathering.

How did you get your visor in and stay. I'm looking at mine and it looks a little difficult at the top inside brow.

How did you get your visor in and stay. I'm looking at mine and it looks a little difficult at the top inside brow.

Hot glue 1st. Buy a glue gun with glue sticks at Walmart for $6. Attach the left and right sides then the lower/vertical section. There is not much room to attach it across the top. Do NOT use super glue! The vapors from the glue with mess up the visor.

After the hot glue is in place, reinforce that glue with the 2 party epoxy (Quick Steel for plastics).

Another thing you can use to hold the visor is the fuzzy side of industrial Velcro. That stuff has a perfect type glue.

Another tip is to use the visor that came with the HBF as a test fit. Get it to fit correctly, then use it to cut your new visor.
