Alta:
So now that college is done (wooooo!) I'm finally able to start working on my armor. Here are some general pics of what I have so far on my soft parts. I'm a nooblet here so if I mess up with how posting on this site works please let me know and I'll correct the error. In any event, pics away!

Here's my design:

And here's my progress so far:

I'd love some feedback and any tips on how to do things :)

Honestly, it looks like you have the vest and boots pretty much down pat.  Not sure how much you've worn those boots, but make sure you have some cushiony insoles.  :)

Narseryc:
Your off to a great start & I love your design art!

What materials are you going to be working with for the plates?

Building or buying the buy'ce?

I am really looking forward to seeing how this build progresses!   ;D

I actually wore the boots so much that they broke and I had to repair them XD They're pretty comfy, but I'll definitely look into getting them some insoles :)

For the plates I'm using the plastic from one of those plastic totes you can buy at Walmart. A friend of mine made his out of it and so I'd thought I'd give it a try. That kind of plastic is acceptable correct? If not I can go and get something else lol

I'm actually going to try making the helmet because of the design I'm going for. I found a post on this site that walks people through a scratch build and so I'm going to give it a go! Wish me luck!
