Flight suit alternative?

 :) Hey everyone I wanted to know if long sleeve hospital scrubs could be used in place of a flight suit. My thinking behind this is 1) easy access for those emergency restroom breaks, 2) they come in a variety of colors, 3) if all else fails buy white and dye them the color of your choice. Would love to here everyone's thoughts.

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed a few times, and if I remember correctly, scrubs are good to go as long as it isn't obvious that they are scrubs

The "Snow Pants" on my New kit are Scrubs ......  ;D

You CAN use them. The cool thing is, you can buy a long AND short sleeve shirt then cut and sew the short sleeves over the long if you want a more cannon style suit. ;)
you flak vest should cover up the "v" neck style collar of the scrubs

Just so I understand correctly ... long sleeve scrub with short sleeve scrub over it then vest?

I've been on this board for a little over a year and I've never heard (or never thought of myself)  about using scrubs for a flight suit...

I really LOVE this idea...!!!! They're pretty inexpensive, they're cotton (easy to dye), pretty "light" (not too hot)...! Yeah I like that... A lot...!

This...... is........ awesome!!!   No zippers, tons of color choices, and my riduur works in the medical field!!  We can scrub shop together!!   :P

I would think that a little "fitting" would need to be in order to take that "scrub look" out but still, this opens whole new doors!!   ;D

I've been wondering about this idea for a while since i have an old pair of scrubs from when i was in high school. (yes i got to wear those in high school, healthcare tech class  :laugh: )
