Those old boots were awesome but it looks like these new ones fit with the armor on it much better so I guess that's an upgrade 
The chest looks like it is set right except for your left chest and that side piece beneath it look a little wonky but I'm guessing it's just cuz your lifting your arm to take the picture.

nothing like 50 year old boots to fix the issue.
all my plates are just held on. i am going to start sewing velcro in now so i can adjust as needed.
I did end up scrapping the back plate in lue of a cape from my first kit i never used. The cape frees up a ton of movement and the cape matches the sniper feel i want with the kit.
 Not going to use the chest lights on this kit. Seems that flashing red will stand out on a sniper.

its a pain to line everything and photo by yourself. SO i am doing the best i can. Real test will be Saturday.

Mhm... I prefer these boots with the overall look of the kit. And good luck with that leather corset, vod! Somehow I feel like I wouldn't be able to swing that for more than a half-hour without driving myself mad. Let me know how it goes!

Ooooohhh, so you're a sniper! I forgot. Definitely nix the chest lights then; they show in any environment. (I guess if you really wanted to be argumentative you could say he only operates on Felucia.... but whatever.)

The corset of belts are not bad. But then I did sca so its no big deal to me.
'All in all I am happy. Kits finished just got to find someone to do my photos and help me suit up.
I will try to get a good photo Saturday at animazement.  With luck I will get all the shots needed to get this kit in for the kill marks. 
I miss the first kit. But this kit was fun. Now on to the next build.

ya a hand made leather boot from the 30s/40s ( its my understanding he got them from a secondhand shop about ten or so years before my dad was born.) last. The soles dont. And i am having a hard time finding a cobbler to fix them.

So my gut says without a new vest this set up wont work. It looks good. But I can't get the spacing right. So would the ab plates work with fett style chest?
