I tried to have them mirror each other enough so they sort of matched, but still look different.

Hard to tell, give them a roughing up with sandpaper and primer them (to make sure the primer sticks), then take a look again, it looks ok, but with the contrasts in colours it's really hard to see.

Like Saz says, give em a lick of paint so they are uniform in colour and it'll look alot better. I do like what you've done with the greeblies and the elbow plates though.

I'll go against the grain and say that, as your right gauntlet has that nice (what I would call) grenade bandoleer, your left looks a little sparse in comparison in that relative space. Perhaps a mini keyboard or a monitor would add to it?
