Ordeyn's Scratch Build Gaunts (Pic Heavy)

(1/14) > >>

Ordeyn:
I'm doing some scratch build gaunts from PVC and what other scraps I have around. I made some custom templates with the help of Arizona Iced Tea cans.

Only the one is cut out so far. I'm going to glue the pieces on.

QUESTION: I've got some JB Stick Weld on hand, but will that be strong enough to hold the pieces on? I will be putting the gaunts on by sliding my hand in.

Mandalore the Uniter:
Those look nice, and being PVC makes them damn near unbreakable.  :P

ConDar Ward:
Looking good Ordeyn .....  8)

Any Big plans for your kit ?    ;D

Byrek Avery:
Gnarly looking :D

Morut Naast:
Like the look you have going here. Looking forward to seeing what you do with these.

The JB weld would probably hold pretty well, but I would recommend you go get you some PVC glue. That will pretty much never fail if applied right. If you can find it, get Christy's Red Hot ($5-ish), then you wont need a primer to make it work. I have made an effort to break those bonds and ususally I end up breaking the PVC before the weld fails.
