Tiny Gaunts for Tiny Mando (Mav'runi WIP)

So I finally have something to post in here (woot!)

As the title suggests, I am a rather petite chick thus I have forearms narrower than most guys. With the help of a trade from my boyfriend to another merc in the AZ area, I got not only a mannequin for my boob plates, but also some decent plastic cups as well. At a recent armor party, my boyfriend helped me get the bottoms cut out. Since my hands are not as skinny as my wrists, we found a cut along the side was needed.


Btw I kinda suck at using a dremel to cut in a straight line, you can tell which one my boyfriend did for me 


They kinda look like Wonder Woman gaunts once I had them on, so I absolutely had to do a funny pose XD


So I at least have a base for now, and a few things I might put on there later but don't have pics of at the moment. Hopefully I will have more to post in the coming days while i'm still on Spring break

Thanks! I didn't get much else done on break sadly. As soon as school is over and finals are done, i will attack these and my other stuff like a freaking Rancor!!!

Question: I'm a small girl myself, so I'll be watching this with interest. Are you planning on bulking them up with gadgety gizmo things, or keeping them really streamlined? (Looking forward to using this as a future reference.)

I'm planning to put a small "laser" on at least one of them, maybe the left one. But for other greeblies, I'll have to raid my garage or my boyfriend's scrap box to see what there is. However I am very tempted to get another set of cups like the ones I have here so I can have 2 different sets of gaunts: one for simplicity and one for other stuff.

Of course any work on these is all dependent on whatever time I get since all my stuff is at my boyfriend's house, which as of late isn't very much. Hopefully I can get a workday this week

Ugh, I know what you mean about time! Can't wait to see what you come up with once you have some.

I was thinking along the same lines; having two sets of gaunts for different occasions. But I'm just worried that adding anything will make my arms bottom-heavy and dwarf my already dwarfish hands

It also depends on how big the gloves you have are, or the suit over all. It all seems to balance out in the end For now though, I'm just going to focus on the one set, I might do another once I get official and don't have a deadline to work for XD Phx comicon is at the end of May, so i'ma be really busy once i get done with school.

great idea on the cups,  i am building something for my son,  he is almost 6 and we are coming to the orlando convention in august,  time for a trip to the 99 cent store for some cup shopping !
