Thanks Vod! I was kinda nervous trying to scratch build and probably even more nervous posting it. There are so many great prop makers on this forum, you amongst them, and I am just trying to live up to the standards you guys have set.

If you ever, EVER, decide to make these for the general peoples, please, contact me first.
This helmet has GOT to be one of, if not THE, best scratch-builds I have ever seen, ner vod.

Thank you ner vod! I probably will be doing a limited run of them some time this summer. But I need to finish my kit and probably make or buy another bucket first. But I will make sure to let all who have shown interest know when I put up an interest thread.

Ifd you do a run of these, do it before you start any paint on this helmet. If you paint it first, you will have to sand all the paint off to make a mold as any "layers" in the paint will come through in the mold. The RTV I talked to you about in the PM's is so sensitive, if you leave a fingerprint on the bucket it may come through in the mold!

That's looking very neat! :)

Awesome work!

I have to concur with Falin, that you will need to get your molding done before using your master as a plug, you'll also have to fill in your visor area as well.

The only other option is to wax up the helmet, so that it makes a coat between the two, to prevent the helmet sticking. Oh and it will grip to any cardboard fibers as a well, so just be careful with that as well :)

Thanks Saz!! It means alot coming from you. No worries about the cardboard fibers here, there is no cardbaord in this build. Just sintra, fiberglass, epoxy, and bondo. :)  But that is very good information to have for future projects, thanks!

Yep. I would totes buy me one of these in the future. Near or far. Maybe for a close combat specialist I had ideas for my second kit...

But I need to get working on my first one before even getting there
