There's a few more things, but nothing like an entire remake of my armor.  I built this set so I'd never have to build another full set, and at this point I'm just swapping out the stuff that: A.  I didn't make or at a minimum design for someone else to make.  B.  Has worn out or just isn't troopable anymore.

I'm also adding a few minor armor pieces outside of the gauntlets and helmet to make the kit "fully realized".  Whatever in the heck that means... :P

Is there anything else your doing .... or just the Gaunts ?   ;)

dude. I look at your gaunts and i look at my gaunts. I feel like a little boy playing dress up in his dads clothing.  :'(  And am reminded why i am up grading to metal. Makes me wonder if i should even work on my plastic plates. i always feel so out of place around the rest of talon. everyone in metal and me in plastic. So i am torn on seeing this build if i should even work on my kit. Plastic just dont add up to the look of metal... SOOOO Whats ya doing with your old gaunts? lol
Great job man.

Did you use bronze brazing Rods on those?
I myself am trying to make a pair out of 18gauge stainless but everybody is complaining and throwing stuff at me >.<.           So, I cannot get as much as you done. And the metal has some kind of waxy coating, so it is usually 50/50 on weather I get good capillary action.

What would you reccomend I do to more easily remove that detestable hardened plasticky medium flux?

Yep, I used bronze brazing rods to weld it together.  Not sure what kind of metal your using, I use cold-rolled carbon steel.  As to getting the flux off, I just use a wire brush and that normally takes it off with no issues.

It's 20-guage 326 stainless, it was from an access pannel of some sort, probably from a hotel/mall/elevator. I hypothesise this by the finish, which has a waxy coating, that makes me have to do about 10 minutes of sanding/square inch. However-the flux I'm useing is getting stuck on the metal like a plastic-I'm considering useing a drill mounted wirebrush, it's the white medium flux paste. I have also got a pretty good system to go by for my guantlet construction; and that is to fabricate any seperate componens of it with the bronze stuff, and then to use SilFos15 for the rest of it. Therefore, I can braise the seperate parts onto the gauntlet(I guess I could use bolts as well...)without worrying about the brazing alloy on the pre-fabricated part melting and messing it up.

One major issue I am having though:warping. When i use the bronze ones on a flat surface,(i.e. top of gaunt) it causes it to warp. How did you combat the warping?
