One major issue I am having though:warping. When i use the bronze ones on a flat surface,(i.e. top of gaunt) it causes it to warp. How did you combat the warping?

The warping is caused by prolonged application of heat.  In other words, your scorching the metal.  I have 1 tiny tiny warped area on my right gauntlet, but I used the bronze flow to mask most of it.  The key is not to over-heat your metal, and you'll cut down a lot on that warp issue.  I don't know what your welding/brazing techniques are, so it's hard for me to advise beyond what I already have. When I braze a long bead, I stand the item up on end and use the heat to coax the bronze downward.  Gravity is your friend, and it leaves no standing bead.

Ok, I have gottem most of the warping hammered back down(and a quarter of the welds cracked due to that) SO, I am jsut putting a couple rivets at a couple parts that kep curling up, clamping it down, and brazing the riveted areas with SilFos15, the joints are a bit brittle, but when you get proper capillary action it holds up just fine.     I'll need to bondo mine though-after very thorough cleaning though.

I think the main issue behind my overheating, is because I have to braze outside in a "wind funnel" of a driveway, and most of the time I have the wind quickly cooling the piece while i am trying to work with it-but hopefully someday I will reach your skill level, lol. I remember about 6months ago I was pulling my hair out trying to make a sheetmetal cod plate; now I'm brazeing gauntlets together              I suppose I will be looking back on these gauntlets in about a year and be like "Ew....just look at the warping in these pics.....FAAAAIL" and nowadays I say that looking at my mk.3 gauntlets

And for the flux removal: since I'm useing stainless, I dunk them in water and slather them with a wet rag a bit while useing the wire brush-it succsesfuly disolves the flux and teh wirebrush easily removes the baked-on flux  ;D It's a learnign process for me, but someday...maybe soon, maybe not, I may even be casting my gauntlets out of aluminum or magnesium or copper or something

Ever think of casting yourself some gauntlets someday Mand'alor?

Cast aluminum gaunts would be neat, and not all that hard either.  Just need a smelting furnace, crucible cup, casting sand, and a 2 part wood mold.
