Mand'alor's heavy gauntlets...literally heavy...

The lanyard launcher attachment uses a steel fiber-cord cable that stretches 2 feet. I wanted to do a 48 inch cord, but the spool was just to big to try and incorporate into the launcher attachment. It attaches to the gauntlet using 6 HDD magnets, and fits into the 2 small steel posts built into the gauntlet. Needless to say, the magnets are pretty darn strong (the gauntlet weighs 2lbs fully loaded).
Lastly, here's a shot of the completed gauntlet set with all the different attachments for the right gauntlet. Both the left gauntlet gun and launcher attachment for the right gaunt are carry-overs from my previous set. The buttons on the keypads function like working buttons (you can press/depress them), and they've been painted over. I'll probably paint a couple more on the left gauntlet keypad a different color, perhaps red to make them stand out. I left the switches static (non-functional) because I don't want a child (or adult child) flipping one of them and something going off that I'm not expecting. The lights are wired directly to a 9 volt which sits inside the upper housing of the gauntlets.
The attachments are (left-right/top-bottom): Fiber-cord lanyard launcher, Dual missile launcher, Grenade launcher, Short-duration flame thrower.
There is a very good reason why the left gauntlet doesn't have any attachments, and hopefully I can get that reason completed before CVI. =)
