Ok, so I figured out what I'm going to do for paint & stencils, for the most part

My color scheme (Shades will vary on each computer monitor)

Color Scheme for my Right Chest emblem (the brown is the chest armor color).  Instead of using the Fett emblem, I'm going to replace the "feather" with an Ion blaster, the raindrop with a miniature sandcrawler, and the F with a mandalorian H.

Color scheme for my Left Shoulder emblem (the gray is the shoulder armor color).  I will be using this emblem exactly like Boba's because I love it.

Underneath the left chest plate's square cut-out hole, I'm writing my name in mandalorian.
Above the visor trim on the helmet (right side, closer to the rear), I'm writing some more mandalorian text.
Finally - On the forward edge of the right shoulder, I'm writing more mandalorian text.

I'm debating - should I engrave and paint the Mandalorian text (black), or just paint it (black)?  I don't know how to engrave thin lines very well, so I'm a little afraid of ruining it.. but it would look cool.

I'm debating on adding some stencils of shapes (like a stripe or two.. some different shapes, etc.), but I'm also weathering it to a medium degree (similar to Boba Fett's weathering in terms of depth).

Anyone have input on this?

Decided to engrave the mandalorian text.  There is an Engraving tool kit for the standard dremel, so I picked that up to have a go at it.

I finished attaching my Cod and Kidney to my INNER support belt (this goes under my girth belt to hold up the weight of the cod, kidney, and holsters).  I still have to fill & sand the holes where the rivets are.  I attached a picture of my boot armor with elastic riveted on & filled/sanded also.

I used a 2" Ballistic Nylon duty belt (similar to what Police use).  It has plastic support inside the nylon, and I drilled holes out to use chicago screws instead of relying on the velcro for attachment.

Note the double-belt for easy adjustment with weight gain and weight loss.

Boot armor (using Seeker's method at TDH):

I riveted snaps to my boots for attachment.

Heatmolding my backpiece and attaching my visor are the next steps.  I'm using chicago screws to attach the visor, so I can take it off for painting.

I just finished photoshopping a Fett chest decal into something more personal to Jark'osa - Jawas. :)

The lower right corner is an "H", the upper left corner is a Sandcrawler, and the middle is an ion blaster.

I'm not sure which one of these to go with.  I like the look of the Ion Rifle better, but the stock and trigger go "out of bounds".  The Ion pistol fits in bounds but doesn't look as cool IMO.

Which one of these decals do you guys like better?  Keep in mind that I am stenciling this, and it's only 3 inches in diameter.

I think I'm going to go with the rifle because when you glance at it, it looks bigger & better.  The pistol looks a little weirder, even though it fits better proportionately.

Just don't let Rob know you're planning on joining the Boba Thong club, too. You'll never hear the end of it!

LOL, actually I was thinking of trying something else.  The inseam of my flight suit is a little baggy, but I don't like the butt floss.. so I was  thinking of cutting a slit in the flight suit and running the elastic thru it like you do with the leg armor.  I'm beginning to think this is what Jango did, since his suit is baggy at the thighs and suddenly pulls up at the inseam... but then it's a little baggy again in the back.

Or i may just cut the elastic down and run it a short length to a snap on the flight suit.  Haven't decided yet - left it long just in case. :)

Come on lol. The way I see it; if it was good enough for Boba, its good enough for me.

Just finished engraving Mandalorian into the side of the helmet.  Also mounted the visor with chicago screws ( 3/16" long) and kitchen faucet washers (size 0) to my helmet.  Epoxied the chicago screws on the inside of the helmet.  I probably put a couple more than I needed in it, but at least I know it's secure.  It's very sturdy feeling now & easy to remove if ever needed.

The flashlight on the side stands out a bit more in the picture because of the difference in color.  I soldered wires to the inside of it so I can power it from inside the helmet.

The holes on the ears will have black mesh behind them for ventilation & hearing.

The little round hole above the right ear is for installing a momentary switch after painting.  The "clear" plastic on the right ear will have a red digital display behind it.

Don't worry, I'm removing the visor before I paint  ;D

Thanks Kelan!

I'm planning out where to put my Dents.  I'm going to plan my weathering around the 3-D dents... but I have to make the dents before I paint.

My character has a lot of similarities to Jango Fett, but with a painted, battle-hardened look like Boba Fett.  He's fought Jedi, Tusken Raiders, underworld creeps with blasters, and a variety of monsters.  He wears Durasteel.

I'm laying out the locations of the dents (from falls, blaster bolts, banging into things, lightsabers, monster scratches, etc.)  I'd like your opinion on how this would look (BTW these all look bigger/deeper than I plan to make them):

Shins from blocking attacks, knees from falling & attacks, upper body from attacks.

Here's another look from Boba (I will be using a decal similar in size to his chest sigil)

What do you guys think?  Of course I will paint & weather around all these places.  I'm just wondering "Is it too much, not enough, unrealistic?"

I know this is going to get a lot of varying opinions, so please state your reasons and suggestions to make it better.

Thanks guys!

Totally agree. It looks cool every time.

But that's just it. Every time.
