yeah i did bend the lower part inward just a tad so it doesn't stick out like that anymore.
ok so anybody got some weathering tips for a guy who was a lil dee-dee-dee and already painted his armor w/out weathering along the way?

This is a good thread to use. It'll explain how to do topical weathering and includes a few different techniques.
My method for topical weathering is to take a really low grit sand paper, crumple it up, and swipe it across the armor lightly and randomly in straight lines to make scratches. You can also wet sand with a really fine sandpaper to expose layers of paint.
After I've done my topical weathering/scratches, I hit my armor with a liberal coat of blackwash and brownwash. My recipe is 2 part black acrylic paint, 2 part windex, 1 part water (shaken, not stirred) in a spray bottle. I fill about half the bottle. Same idea with the brown wash but substitute brown paint for black. I spray the armor until it's all black then let it sit for 10-20 seconds before I start dabbing it off with tissues. It works best if you don't wipe too much in my experience. Repeat until happy with dirt level and then do the brown wash. The brown will look most convincing if it's concentrated along the edges and in crevices.

alright the time is finally upon me, i am still missing my cod piece and gotta attach my boot plates and hand plates, plus some minor alteration to my backplate but it is at long last ready to show off to give y'all an idea of where i am going with this build.
without further ado here it be in (most) of it's glory!!
shoud have it ALL done tomorrow or the day after. then it will be getting er ready for app time!!! criticisms welcome and honestly needed lol.
