Bolt on your amour... NOW!!!!! with this easy tutorial

Since i did this with my armour, i thought i would post a simple tutorial of how to do it. All you need is a pack of eyelets (i used 5mm) and the same amount of nuts and bolts and some very strong adhesive.
First off, turn your vest inside out and trace around your plates.
Then after it's drawn on mark where you want the eyelets to go.
Then make hole's with the little punch you get with the eyelets or a leather punch, but the punch may be awkward with the holes in the middle area of the vest.
When you have all the holes, poke through the eyelets and add the washer to the other side.
You then need to close the eyelet with the eyelets tool you should have with the pack.
Then when all the holes are done, place sticky velcro to the vest near the part where your armour will go. This is just to get the placement right.
Then place the armour where you want it and push down so it sticks to the plate, this is the part where you need to get it spot on before you mark the plates for glueing.
When you get the plates where you want them, poke a marker pen through the eyelet holes on the back of the plates.
After you make all the plates with circle, make a X on the circle so you know where to position the bolt. Then rub the X with sandpaper (this helps it stick better).
This is what i used to stick the bolts on.
Mix it up and put a small bit on the bolt.
It should look like this.
Then just dremmel of the ends. (Many thanks to Valcar for helping with this part) You need to go very slow because i snapped load of wheels, and two of the bolts come off and i had to reglue.
This is the finished product. I'm very happy with it and i will be doing this with my backplate. If you have any questions just post here of send me a PM.

Wow, thanks a lot man! I'm in the middle of reattaching all my plates, just waiting for a break between work and school, and I think I'll go this way instead of velcro again. Thanks again!

Uber Nice. I'm so using this method. Seems easier than the complete snap method.

I like how sturdy this looks.
However ... Wouldn't it be slightly more comfortable if you used
screw posts
?
Same effectiveness, less poky stuff just the other side of your shirt...

Great tutorial!! I like the use of the vinyl for the vest. I have been contemplating what to use to make mine when the time comes. Gives me something I didnt even think about. i am not big on single color either as stated above, but there is just something about yours that makes it rock!! Well done.
