Star Wars Galaxy Gauntlets

Here is a video on how me made these gauntlets...

What's the matter? Surprised to see a lowly Bounty Hunter wielding such a fine and noble weapon? You're not the only one who's killed Jedi!

Ooooooh, I think this will fix my gauntlet problem. I shall try this!
Btw, what kind of PVC did you use? I heard you mention prices, but did you use the foam core or the solid core?

I used the cell core. It was the cheapest and works great.

Wow, that was a fantastic tutorial! I used Sintra for most of my armor and I was stuck on how to do my gauntlets for the longest time, now maybe I can brain storm some looks and start working!
Thanks!

This was extremely helpful.  I'm making me and my wife's gauntlets at the moment, and was at a loss on what i was going to make it out of. Truly truly helpful.

Oooh. Nice. Now I can make gaunts. Was that 4 inch?

Nevermind, caught the size on it the second time I watched it. -.- lol

Question though, do you have an actual file of that top template, or did you just freehand it?

Very good tutorial!  I have recently began working with PVC & a heat gun.

What method did you use for closure on these?  I didn't see the use of hinges anywhere so I am guessing that you shells come completely apart.

Don't cut the PVC pipe inside... oh, what a mess, and therefore, a very unhappy wife. Great tutorial - I'm in the middle of making a set!
