What's sad is, she's not kidding when she says this... :'(

You know I love that you've never given up on this kit and can't wait to see the new stuff you add to it! Those back vibroblades are soooo cool! 8)

I was thinking the other day about this kit and was wondering if you ever thought of engraving all the details instead of sculpting them on? Then you wouldn't have to worry about things breaking off and such. I know your wanting to go lighter with this new version so I'm not sure if you can engrave sintra with the same result I've had with my bondo/fiberglass plates or not. But, just a thought. ;)

Kora:
Yaaay! I've always loved this kit. ^_^ Excited to see a new version of it.

I got to watch the amazing misstori do some sculpting today and let me tell you, she really is amazing to watch work. I've never seen anyone sculpt so fast! It was an honor just getting to sit and watch her work. I can't wait to see your updates for some of those things you were telling me about and your finished backplate! (Hint, hint) ;)

And my mind wandered over to where the Death Watch helmet and the Celtic helmet were having a conversation and said hello to them.
Best of luck with this build, ner vod'ika!  :)

Thanks, my new helmet is going to be a Saz Death Watch, so I can see what you mean there. While I love love the Celtic I prefer to do the more mendhi inspired designs on it.

Thanks! I'm liking them better than the old ones. appreciate the encouragement.

Thank you. I thought it myself a few times :)

Problems of a small apartment, can only hold a max 2 kits. :) I'm preferring the sculpting to the engraving for most of the detail, but I was so inspired by your engravings that I'm going to try and work a bit of it in! I tested some of my apoxie sculpt a few days ago and it worked really well. As soon as this play is over Imma give it the time and attention it deserves. Thank you so much for all your amazing kindness. Just being in the room with your stuff is amazing and the feeling of honor is more than mutual I assure you. :)
A quick update
Here is my back plate, sculpting finished and all primed. With luck it will be painted and antiqued on the morrow!

critique and comments are welcome.

Niabi:
