That's very cool.  My only concern is how you're going to attach plates to that and have them be secure.

I'm guessing that's what the buckles are for... maybe there's loops in the underside of the armor plates that they pass through and connect to

my armour for this kit is legacy style which i clamshelled attaching the shoulders to the front and back plates and im adding straps to the sides so they dont slide from side to side, but i dont have to worry about attaching them to my vest on this kit

anger inducing mishap involving both of my shin pieces, which leads to me having to remake them, good thing i had the foresight to order more sintra a couple weeks ago, already got the pattern recut, starting shaping and gluing together shortly hopefully the mishaps are over and i dont have to worry about anymore. wish me luck, pics incoming later tonight or tomorrow

ok i finally got time to redo my shinplates and boot tops, heres a few pics

now that im finally done with that (and the puppy is finally big enough to join the other dogs in the backyard when we aren't home)
all i have left is to make knees, and get my gauntlets back so i can finish final paint and greebs hopefully this makes my deadline of the end of the month. fingers crossed

well i finished up all of the major work on my kit today just in time for a star wars day roller derby troop with the local 501st garrison, and since i got some pics done, i figured now would be a good time to put up my pre-app pics and find out what i need to tweak/fix/ sorry the pics are kinda fuzzy i only had my cell camera at the event. well without further ado........ heeeeeeeeere they are




here is a pic of my flamethrower gauntlet with the led wire actually lit in a room dark enough to see it
i plan to change the EL wire from blue to red/orange but that will have to wait

here is my weapons layout (may add another pistol, have it made but not sure if i want to throw it in)

so there it is alot of work put in, not sure how much more i need to do, so if there's anything you
guys can see other than sash/kama and/or pouches let me know

That's pretty cool looking!  I love that armor design.  A few things (and these are personal, and to my knowledge, not CRL-related).  Your shoulders make the rest of your body look really small, so it'd be cool if you had a cape or something like that to help "bulk up" the rest of your body.  Second, I think knees would be cool, or extend your shin plates to have some sort of knee covering (I'm pretty sure that CRL's allow knee-less kits, but I'd ask someone on the App team, because I'm not sure).  Other than that, COOOOOOOL!!!!

Knees are required per the CRL's. The back of your kit looks unbalanced with the front because of the large amount of armour on the front and lack of on the back. This could be solved pretty easily by a kama

I think a kama would really hrlp balance things out. Also, is your cod plate not attached to your belt or anything? I'm sure it's fine but I'd almost like to see it moved up or extended.

Overall, really cool kit! I've been waiting to see how you eould pull it together. Especially love the EL wire from the flamethrower; nice touch.

Looks like a great and unique kit.  I had some doubts when I first saw the bucket and the horns, but it came together very nicely. 

If you are going Modern/Legacy then knees are required, but if that is a Late Crusader they are only "highly recommended"  Sorry, I'm still not very good at telling the two eras apart some times, but the triangular visor says Legacy, I think?  The above suggestions of a kama also would likely look great.

Glad to see this come out much better than I had feared it might.  Nice work.

Still think it would help if you painted on or engraved a chest diamond.
It's one of the key features of Mandalorian armor.

As well, ammo pouches or at least some form of girth belt, the empty space just gives a weird appearance and would help bulk up your midsection.
Those shoulders really make your appearance top heavy.
