This issue should now be fixed.  Members can no longer request to join a Clan's membergroup.  However clan Alor'ad/Ver'alor can assign it to new official members in their clan.

Update, this feature has been completely disabled.

When we are trying to respond to this tread, it is automatically shooting us to youtube. Not sure why but it lands on the reply page for a milisecond then kicks it directly to youtube.

That could have something to do with the youtube tag mod we installed this morning.  We'll look into it, but I'm guessing it's the only thread it's happened to thus far?

IT's because you posted the link with this in the URL:

I removed that section, and the thread works fine now. That code makes it so it redirects to the youtu.be website, so it was auto-refreshing to that page. Just make sure to remove any '&feature...' sections in the URL before posting it.

On the main menu, click on 'profile', then look under 'Modify Profile', and click on the item 'notifications'. From there you can see every topic that you have been subscribed to. You can remove the ones that you no longer wish to follow. Hope this helps!

Doesn't seem to be working for me on either Safari or Explorer 8.  Right now on my "show new replies to your posts" there's a new posting for this topic " http://mercs.firespray.net/forum/index.php?topic=32229.0;topicseen " (Second Life Mandos - Back At It) however following the instructions provided nothing shows up.

I'm confused. Are you subscribed to that topic? Were you saying you were upset that you couldn't remove a topic from being followed (ie, sending you notifications when a thread was updated?)

Or were you talking about the 'posted in' icon on the boards? Clarify for me and I'll see what I can do to help.

Not upset about it, just wanted to clear up a fair number of topics I've replied to over the past two years I'm no longer following but I continue to get updates on.  I receive that the topic has been updated on the "show replies to your posts" link and wanted to clear out the ones I am no longer following however when I got to "Modify Profile" >> "Notifications" there is no list showing up when I check the box.  I may be doing something wrong or misunderstanding what the function does.

Thank you so much for disabling that clan membergroup feature. I was so confused when I received a request to join via e-mail.  That membergroup feature was under a "moderate" tab and I thought approving someone would make them a moderator.  It throw me off at first, but then I saw the other members listed so I figured it was ok to let a new recruit join.  Very confusing indeed.  I am glad it is gone, one less thing to worry about.  Thanks again.

And thank you very much for bringing back the "bookmark" section.  I had a bunch of reference threads there and I am glad to have them back.  Site looks good.  I just need to get used to it being slightly different.  Thank you all for your hard work.

Oh and I am not sure if I am the only one with this problem, but when I reply or start a new topic, I don't have all the options above the text field like I had yesterday.  I am missing the options that let me bold, underline, center, high-light, etc.  Is that feature disabled or is it just buggy for me??   I can bold something if I use the brackets code,  but I don't have the easier option to select some text and click a bold button. 

Nevermind I solved this issue.  I am using this "no-script" add-on and it disables certain features from sites unless I allow it.  I allowed this site and now I have all the options.  I fixed on my own, but I am sure you all would have fixed it for me so thanks anyway

We are currently aware of a bug that is not showing all member position tags on their profile. For example, you might navigate to my profile, and not see my administrator tag.

We are working on fixing this issue. However, in the meantime, trust the tags that are on forum posts, as those seem to be unaffected.
