Mission Objective: Coordinated invasion to promote the various Star Wars Costuming clubs.
Invasion Report:Members of the Shonare Vhekadla Clan, the Manda'gallar Clan, the 501st Legion, the Rebel Legion, the Imperial Service Organization, and the R2 Builders Club came together to partake in this annual tradition. The Star Wars clubs marched down the heart of Phoenix proceeded by the Desert Edge High School Marching Band. Darth Vader, C3PO, R2D2 and Rebel Legion members traveled in style in multiple beautiful classic cars bringing smiles to the onlookers faces.
The Mandalorian Mercs were the main focus this year for the Star Wars section of the parade. The Mandos escorted the famous carbonite frozen smuggler and served as crowd control when a few excited spectators shouted “free Han Solo”. They were also met with lots of cheering and wowed the crowds with their stunning costumes and sheer numbers. All the clubs represented and showed what a powerful presence they have in Arizona.
