I think argument is a strong work Kibirii. I'd say discussion with passion is more like it.  ;)

The problem is that with women we all have varied shapes and proportions, even more so than guys. A "C" cup on one girl will not fit the same as it does on another "C" sized girl. Thats why they make a million different types of bras.

Also the problem I have with longer 'tabs" is that they don't like to lay as nicely on a more curvy body. Or a moving body.  It just needs to be in proportion to the rest of the kit, with minding the gaps.

The advantage with the chest plates is that they're not going to have to wrap all the way around (like a bra), merely covering the chest...so I think that would cut down quite a bit on the variations...not to mention they're free floating and separated which leaves much more room for adjustment.

As far as the tabs go, would it be better to just make them longer anyway and leave it up to the individual to cut them down as they wish? Remember they still have to match up to a certain degree with the ab plate as well, correct?

i'm kinda new to all this, but i'm kind atorn down the middle too. I want something that looks feminine, but isn't super sexist. some people find the cups to much, i dont mind them if they are donw well. and C is an average, but girl to range, so if you want more for your buck plates will work better

RKD, I just saw this thread and having daughters and a wife building 'gam, I think you should built one of each set and display them here and then let everyone decide. Or just do a run of each and let the ladies of the MMCC decide which they like most. It is a win-win situation if I ever saw one. I have seen your work and I think our sisters will get an excellent set of armor whichever they buy.  ( If this has already been said, just ignore me!) ;)

For what it is worth, I asked a female friend who is a huge Mando fan and she replied with this image.  I'm not big on the EU canon, but the filename says "female deathwatch" so I'm assuming that is what it is :P

I don't know where it came from or who the artist is, so I can't give credit, but that style chest was what I was trying to describe earlier too.

Thanks for that image ZP. I really dig that style as well...it gives the armor that angular tough look while accommodating the female figure. Hmmmm...

It's also not got the ... well, cleavage, for lack of a better term - IE it's flat across, which is better from an actual armour perspective. Less for weapons to get caught on.

I don't think we really have to worry much about blaster bolts getting caught on cleavage. . . .lol

(I do like that angled look though. If something like that could be made for larger cups, I'd be interested since Kora was always supposed to have plates more like that. Truthfully, even cupped ones in a D/DD size that don't look like round blobs stuck on would be great; even my current mannequin plates are actually just slightly too small. :/ )

I like  :)  I would be interested in this as well. I like the looks of it.

I'm SERIOUSLY considering going with this option instead of the other 2 discussed in this thread.

Remake the poll, I'm changing my vote. >_> Seriously though, that's pretty damn wicked looking.

Unrelated note... I like the holster/beskad sheath. Hmn...
