Invasion Location: "Sam's Club M.S. Fundraiser" - Phoenix, AZ (USA)
Date: January 28, 2012
Clan Involved: Shonare Vhekadla
Mission Objective: To raise awareness and money for Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Invasion Report: On a breezy Saturday morning, the Dune Sea Mandos and their allies from the 501st Legion and Rebel Legion arrived at the Sam's Club. The week before the event, the shoppers heard that Star Wars costumers were going to invade their store.  Before the mercs and their friends took their place at the photo booth, there was a huge line of families already waiting for them. When the costumers finally came out, they were greeted by fans of all ages.

Throughout the day people lined up to take pictures with the Mando Mercs, Stormtroopers, Biker Scouts and Jedi. For a donation, Sam's club took pictures and had these printed out at the photo center in the store. So, as the families were done shopping, the photos were ready for them to take on their way out.

From time to time the Mandos would take a break and wonder through the store looking for bounties, duel with the employees and just have fun.  In about 3 hours, the group raised over $400. To top it all off the clan made two new recruits that day. The Sam's Club supervisor who helped coordinate the event plans to build a kit for himself and his son in the near future. It was an all around great experience and a successful event.
