Dana Black's armor (sneak preview some color, p4)
Dana Black:
I tried the make the backplate in one piece fit. It really didn't look I will be able to bend it, I don't know how you guys do that. I'm too curvy all over :-[
So I came up with this, a bit inspired by Open Seasons. What do you think? Should I make the plates less high so they don't come that low? Evenly (13 - 13 -13 cm to 12 - 12 - 12 cm for example) or cascading (right word? I mean 13 - 12 - 11 cm)?
Or would this be acceptable?

I like that back plate!
Jobatt:
I like the segmented look, but you might consider have the bottom one have more of a distinctive shape. Aside from making it look different and distinct from the other two, you should be able to make it so that you have better flexibility. Additionally in terms of flexibility, you can always have a seam down the center that halves each of your plates and gives you more flex along that axis as well.

I'd go for the cascading sizes on the back plates. Possibly taper them just a little
