Ok so I redlined out a few ideas
Here's where I'm at at present

Here's how I envision it (red being the new visor brim, and blue being filled with plasticard

Here's an alternative idea I'm not sure would be approved, but would look quite ok I reckon

Im not a fan of any of them mate Sorry. im not sure, but i don't think that if you are going for Moden era that you will get approved with them. Might be ok for Legacy? My advice try what kel said. In my bucket my eye are just at the bottom to the top bar but i do most of my seeing out of the Vertical part of the T and not the top bar.

My head hits the top of the dome
Well, it hits the wee plastic block at the top, which is about 15mm thick.

Grind that block out, it serves no purpose and removing it will allow the helmet to fall properly.

Al have a scour through it, but having looked at it, I'm still no sure how to deal with my helmet.
I mean purely on the vision side of things y'know?
Like if I raise the cheeks to the necessary height, I won't be able to see at all :S

Also with the block gone and using foam instead of the suspension system you'll be able to angle the helmet differently on your head. That will allow you to see out of the visor even if you cant as it sits right now. The DP I'm restoring as a backup has the same problem with me, but just changing the angle and I can see fine.

It will fit if you cut out the block at the top of the dome, and leave out the helmet strappy thingy ! LOL Honestly even with a big melon it should fit if you follow Falin's guide

So I took the plunge
I took out the block, and was surprised by how much it dropped it
After that and carving out the nose-rest so that my face was slightly further down

Next step is placing the visor housing further up, and from there, filling, priming, painting










Eyes sit a lot lower!!

And the visor housing has been cut
Now to trim it to size and place it back on

Take that rubber liner right out! It will continuously get in the way. Trust me the bucket will ride better without it.
