Are your Biceps; Leather Wraps with snaps?

Your Blue give a preat pop, and almost a purple-ish appearance at angles. What shade is it?

Yes I am a Skyrim fan, but I started this a while before the game came out. 

The biceps are in fact leather with snaps.  I tooled on the scales.

And there are actually three different shades of color over the grays. Krylon Rich plum is the purple that I put on first.  Then I put on a little Krylon periwinkle (light blue) but leave some purple exposed.  Lastly I add a touch of blue pearl enamel that gives it a pearlescant look.  To finish it I put on some satin clear coat to keep the colors consistent.

So here's the spear.  It is designed to look like the tip of the dragon's tail.  I'm going to put some animal bones and beads on twine that dangle off the spear head too. The entire length of the spear is just under six feet. It breaks down into three pieces.

Love the spear pal, i was sketching similar for my axe blade but only one side of yours.

I keep coming and having a look at your progress, and i have to say, at first i was a bit skeptical on how you would pull it off. But, you've done a great job, Quite awe inspiring in fact, and i look forward to the day you wear it .

I cut out the back plates today.  I'm in the process of shaping them and gluing them together right now.  Once I get them all put together, I can make templates for the collar plate and side plates.  I'l post more pics later.

Back plate is done!  I just need one more dusting of dark blue once the scales dry.  Then I will make a template for the side plates and collar.
