Looks great! I noticed u got the rubies 1 piece. How tall are you if I may ask? I am short myself and the helmet doesn't seem that small for me I think.
Do u know if I can still get it somewhere?

Love the paintjob btw! The colors have a very nice casual look to it. Imo people often make the mistake of using too bright colors.

Thank you, Drogynn!  I am just under 5'3".  You will most likely have to wear a neck seal and a balaclava with it since it is such a short helmet.  Got mine locally off of craigslist for $25, which I thought was a steal.  I have seen them go for much more on the internet.  Personally, if I had to pay more than $25 I would just save up and get a nicer one from the prop makers on the forum, or have a go at scratch building one.   Hope you can find one cheap, too!

Not this year, sorry! We have other events we are preparing for, and we have a bunch of non-mando costumes that we have worked really hard on and need to use. Our next major event is Shadocon in Tampa in November, and I still have a lot of work to do on our props until then, so I'm trying to balance my kit out by doing small armor parties with my local shinies every now and then. I planned on debuting my mando at Megacon in March or so, but hopefully it'll be done before then, and I'll have plenty of time to fiddle with it and improve it. Also, let's just say that my mando isn't the only thing I'm making a suit of armor for...
