Getting ready to start my first scratch build...

I have decided to make my first bucket out of 3mm Sintra. I have all the parts cut out. I was wondering two things...
1st- Do you guys think it would be easier if I first made a form for the dome out of poster board/ cardstock and fiberglass?
2nd- Should I fiberglass the bucket after it's all togeather?
