1- It should stick, no problem...
2- You SHOULD have your fiber glass tape (or mat or cloth) overlapping. That's what's gonna give the whole thing strength...

soooo worst case senario happened, I went to my friends house to work on my helm, and not only did my helmet break beyond repair my dad dropped a bunch of heavy stuff on my armor destroying it, and I leave in like 2 months for basic, so I'm going to have to postpone everything for you guys  :'( . I'm really sorry that I have to do this, but I want it to look amazing and I have to wait until I'm done with training before I can get the time to do so. But who knows, I'll probably do Neo-crusader next time  :P
