I got a girth belt, and now I'm trying to figure out how one modifies it to fit a skinny human rather than a horse (I've just got it knotted in The back in this picture). What do you think of dying it a royal blue?

My vest is also trimmed, and my shoulder plates are mounted.

I say go for royal blue. It's a nice color. 

At the bottom of the pic on your right leg... Are you ok? That looks like a pretty nasty break.

Thanks for the input, I'll eye it a bit before deciding on a color. The reason I was thinking is the contrast, Boba wears a red one with his green armor. But I bet you knew that before I did... 

And yes, my leg is fine. I noticed it looked odd in the photo also, this flightsuit's just a bit on the baggy side and hangs odd.

How much does the girth belt overlap in the back?

About 10"-11" inches of overlap when it's wrapped around. When I was shopping I didn't think any of the sizes were going to fit, so I went for the 50" one figuring that if I was going to have to mod it anyway, I might as well have a lot to hack off. Now I'm second-guessing myself and considering trying a smaller size to see if it'd work...

Well, what I might first recommend before you look into purchasing another is to measure your waistline to see what number you come up with.  If you can find one UNDER that size, get it.  But it's possible they may not make one that small.  If that's the case, you will probably need to mod it or make your own.

Can you take a few pics of the buckle ends where the white rope comes together at the buckle?

Curious to see what modifications could be done in order to get it to fit...
