Mercs "Hero Comics Presents: Kids Need to Read " Invasion Debriefing

Invasion Location: "Hero Comics" - Phoenix, AZ (USA)

Mission Objective: To truly invade an event and to visit the other costuming clubs, while helping the Kids Need to Read charity foundation raise money.

Invasion Report: On a Saturday afternoon, two mini vans rolled into the parking lot of Hero Comics.  Members of the Shonare Vhekadla Clan hopped out of the vehicles and marched towards the comic book store.  They had been tipped off that there was a charity event for the Kids Need to Read foundation and they felt the need to invade and make a surprise appearance since they have helped that charity in the past. When the Mandos entered the store it was packed with various super heroes and lots of families who at first seemed surprised, but then they welcomed the Mercs.

Hero Comics put together a great group of artists that were doing sketches for donations. All the money raised went to the Kid Need to Read charity.  There were picture opportunities and even a coloring area for the kids. The Dune Sea Mandos patrolled the store for a bit and then as quickly as they snuck into the store, they snuck back out. They later intercepted a transmission that said the event was a success and the group is thrilled they took part in their own way.

There is nothing like Mando Mercs hopping out of mini vans.  I am sure it was a cool sight for people.  You were there in spirit
