My Jango WIP

just thought I would post a pic of the Jango I have been working on.  I am currently working on attaching the armor to the vest and this is a pic I took to check spacing.

I am hoping to finish this up in the next couple of weeks.  I need to attach armor and do final fit and placing plus a little soft parts sewing for the leg armor openings.

Looks great, though you might have to rearrange those plates a little... a bit crooked in a couple places. Nothing really bad though. I want your gauntlets, LOL. Where'd you get 'em?

Yeah I guess I didn't post in this forum that I was testing placement on the chest armor.  I am going to move the left side down.  The collar and shoulders are attached in this picture, the chest is just stuck on with velcro for now.  I am taking my time when I punch holes in this vest since it is a real leather vest from LSFU.

The gaunts are Cruzer Cold Cast, and I can tell you that the picture doesn't do them justice.  He makes a very clean and sharp cast on each and every one of the items he makes.  The only thing I am missing on the gaunts is the fins for the grappling dart.  Darkside was out of them when I ordered from him.  I am just going to cut some out of scrap sintra and R+B them.

You know what yer about mate , Just extend the collar on the flightsuit a tad . Or reduce the top paddin insert a little too . Looking sweet mate .

Thanks for the compliments.  Movie quality and screen accurate is what I am shooting for. 

This has been tough work to put together. ( and 2K wouldn't get it I am ashamed to say) LOL


I will submit this as my second mercs kit when I think it is ready.  I think it is durn close right now, but I am still trying to tweak some things.

LOL I figured that figure was a bit low (probably by at least another 1,000) but that was just my gut reaction.

Seriously though, it's just about indistinguishable to my eye. I would be surprised if they asked you to make any significant changes.

looks really good, but, your chestplates are off kilter. they're leaning to your right a little. it stands out where they meet the collar plate and the bottom of the abplate.
