Veman Gilamar:
I started pics a little late in the process, but here is where I am at so far: Everything with finished paint on it has been sprayed 3 times with silver hammered finish, then clear coated then two layers of red with clear coat after each layer, then 2 coats of the black and gold were added followed by 2 more coats of clear protect-ant. I also gave a light sanding with 600 grit sand paper between each layer. I used the toothpaste method for the larger damage, along with smaller scratches made with sand paper. For weathering I used light sanding as well as brushing on black chalk dust before I did the final clear coat layers.
This vest isn't the one I will be using, it's a cheap vinyl one I made in a hurry trying to get ready for CV. I am still hunting a flight suit that fits me like I'd like it too. I am 6'4" and it seems most I have found are too tight in the wrong area. (I am considering using military BDU's, I think I read that was acceptable) The thigh pads I am just holding up since I don't have a flight suit yet.
This bucket is a 2- piece Jango that I just stripped down and primed, I am not sure if I will use it or not but if I do it will be heavily modded.
Backplate and shoulders, I plan to add some writing in Mando'a to the back plate but I m not sure yet what .
This is a famas airsoft gun that I made inoperable and added a longer barrel to, I still need to cut the handle from the top and repaint, and add a scope. I'm not sure what else will be added to it
I just picked up a kama and half cape from the trading station and should have it fairly soon.
Any advice and or criticism is encouraged.

Looking good man!

Nice job so far
Bazii Malric:
One thing I noticed is that your chest plates look like they may be a tiny bit too wide. The top of the chest plates should be no wider than the bottom edge of the collar plate. I think a little trim off the outside edges would fix that without having to redo the whole chest. Other than that, you have a great jump on things here!
Hagen Nor'ak:
Looking good so far. I do see what Bazii means on the chest plate, but once you have it mounted to your vest I don't think it will be as notiable. Probably something to check when you get everything propperly mounted to make sure.
From the pics you don't look like your skin and bones, so I don't think the Jango 2 piece is going to be big enough for you in the end. I'd take a pic with it and you armor on to double check, but I think your going to need a bigger helmet in the long run.
Have a good one,
Hagen
