i cut out a lot of the progression pics because that's boring.
but it doesn't make a very good WIP thread.
W/E ... if anyone has questions on how i did something i would be happy to relay whatever information you want through PM.
having covered that...

i used this stuff to mold it.
then just sanded it even.

nice, you can hot glue, velcro,  epoxy etc it into place!! can we see some more pics  8)

i think i'd like to do the velcro ... but i don't really see how that's done.  any wip's that show this?

originally yes i planned stuff for the back, however this helmet isn't very structurally sound and i didn't want to add to that by cutting any extra holes.
i could still do greebs i suppose or a pvc addon to the surface in the center back panel.
other than that i plan to change it upon upgrade time whenever that comes.

you could always spread a rondo ( resin/bondo) mix on the inside to give it more strength vod, or buy the liquid spray plastic and layer it on inside!!

yeah i did the plastidip thing.
still seems less rigid than i would like.
i may do the upgrades on this bucket at a later date though.
at this time my focus is getting official.
