Dresdon Acacin's HEAVY METAL gauntlets
Dresdon Acacin:
Enclosure method:
Piano hinge w/ ends bent for easy removal. 2 piano hinges on each gaunt, one with the removable pin and the other with the stationary pin. Bolted on with 6/32" bolts. Head on outside-nut on inside.
Repairs:
Since bondo isn't flexible and RKD's ABS gauntets are, I had to put a strip of Stainless steel on the top sides to keep it's rigidity. Some places that I would keep getting cracks from it enlargening when it's worn, somewhat snugly at that-so i strategicly put soem hot glue over them when they nare expanded in such a way that they look like welds & will be painted as such.
Materials:
They have a base that once was a stock, off the vacu-former pair of RKD's 0.60 ABS gauntlets. I added some pieces of stainless steel for rigidity here 'n there and were the rocket launcher part was. There was alot of greebles and other msicilanious parts i added too. One of such items are Mega Blocks jet drive thingys, they are my......disruptors? duels, one on each side of the right gauntlet. And for the base of the holoprojector and for some extra room inside.
Flamer thrower:
I also used the body of a knife sharpener, a circuit mounted 9v battery holder, a red and green indicator light, 4 algebra tiles, a small project box, a small 4 pin toggle switch various H-VAC hose coupling and connectors, a Red Refrigerant Hose, a small bracket and some self-tapper 1/4" hex screws, an A/V input connector(same one that RKD used in his).

Dresdon Acacin:
My mandalorian's proffesion is somewhat of the mechanicle/tech guru of the clan/squad. Colours will be of teh ACU camo pattern, but no actual camaflauge patter. All I'm saying is that I'm using the colours on the modern ACU camaflauge. And my hot-glue/weld defect coverup wouldnt seem too far out fo place with that proffesion :)
Lord Jaur:
too busy IMO

Heres a couple webcam shots off the gauntlet's electronics and them in action.
