Sandhawk Clan claims Australia for Mandalore!

Mandalorian Mercs would like to congratulate our newest official Clan, Sandhawk Clan, currently covering Australia and Tasmania.  Sandhawk Clan is the 40th official Mercs chapter, and increases clan coverage to 8 countries internationally. 

Ason Ralka, a long-time Mercs member has been elected by the clan to serve as it's initial Clan Leader (Alor'ad). 

This is another milestone for Mandalorian Mercs as we continue into 2011 with more Clan and Squad formations on-track.

Congratz guys and gals! After so many years of being the Lone Ranger and then a few guys that popped up and dissappeared, it's nice to see Ason isn't out their by himself anymore!

Just a questions... do you guys use the Mando'a translation for Sandhawks as Vhe'kadla Galaar? If so, that's funny cuz that's the same name my eldest son uses as his character name but, we translate it as Desert Hawk.

That sigil is a massive group collaboration that we're all very pleased with, Falin

No we haven't translated Sandhawks to Mando'a. On the sigil it simply says "Sandhawks" in the Mando'a font. We decided to go with a name that was recognisable in English, so people don't go "You're the what? How do you pronounce that?" I imagine though that your boy's name would be very close

We're all very proud, especially of Ason. He fought such an uphill battle for so, so long by himself. It's wonderful that he gets to be the leader
