Next step: getting the RF/ears attached. I'd like to make them moveable independently.  Gotta find that thread and study it. Haven't yet found the motor I need to make it work though.

Oh, I'll probably get in trouble for saying so, but chat roulette with the buy'ce on is a lot of fun.

I've been a bit aloof recently, but I'm finally getting back into the swing of things here.  So here's my progress with the bucket:

I've trimmed some more off the bottom to angle higher on the sides and a little more in the back. 

I'm going to add the RF's but I don't think I'm going to make them moveable yet.  Too much small pieces and I'm afraid of messing up (permanently) an already fragile item that will cost too much to replace at this juncture. I think I'm just going to glue them on, one at a time, and then paint them.

I might be adding a mini-rocket launcher onto the side, I'm not sure yet. The rocket launcher will either be on the side/bottom of the helmet or on my shoulder. We'll see over the next couple of weeks how it turns out.

I've made some changes/additions to the helmet: added the RFs and painted the stalks. Still trying to decide what color to do the rest. . .
i think I already mentioned I trimmed some more off the bottom but here's the current pictures of the buy'ce.

Finished the painting and clear-coated the whole thing (except the visor) and am ready to call it done.  For now.  Until I decide to integrate the comm system into the helmet, add some fans, fancier padding, maybe some sort of hook thing to affix it to my armor somewhere/how or maybe even make the rfs moveable. We'll see what the future holds. Check out my armor WIP linked in my signature to see the final product.
