Just quickly added the missing hoses in photoshop. Does that clear it up a bit?

Thanks guys.
PLEASE, if any of you see something let me know, even if I have to remake pieces.

The helmet is the right size, but I'd see about maybe giving it some (More?) padding on top to make it sit that tiny bit higher. That could take away the perceived issue of it being too big.

Looking good!

What about a harness arrangement for the axe , Similar to the jet pack one ? Looks brilliant on  ;)

That looks awesome. The gas mask hose seems to work out well.

There actually isn't any padding in the helmet yet at all, which could be the problem. I think that's what bothers me from the front view, is that I have no neck. The helmet almost looks like it's sitting on my shoulders. LOL Thanks Point. ;)

That's somewhat what I already have going, a loop system to hold the axe. You can see the upper loop attached to my shoulder, the axe slides through it first, then the groove in the back of the backpack. The axe is still too top heavy not to pull things out of whack, so I was thinking of adding a lower loop strap to keep the end of the handle down and everything aligned. Is that what your talking about or attaching loops directly on the outside of the backpack?

That looks awesome. The gas mask hose seems to work out well.

Thank you again Jagen for suggesting them, they really are exactly what I needed!  ;D

You could trim the sides of the helmet upwards a bit to shorten the helmet. The actual Visor area wouldn't be cut, but the cheeks and the sides would angle up sharper. That may help you out. . . along with padding. Wonderful to see you finally beginning test-fits! ;D

Fantasitc as always ! ... and great to see a test fit, gets you exited to know that things are now coming to fruition ;D
i dont think you should cut your helmet as previously mentioned, i think when you get it padded  out to fit it will lift it enough from your shoulders.

looking great my dear lady mando ;)

Good Lord! There is NO way I would go anywhere NEAR that beautiful helmet with a cutting tool! The stress would make my head explode! Padding should be MORE than sufficient.  ;)

It looks great so far! The only thing I see is the lines in the leather (carving I assume?) look a bit like reflections and are a tad difficult to make out. Have you considered anything to enhance them?

I would actually say that your helmet is too large.

I hate to say it really I do especially after seeing all the work done and what a beautiful piece it is. It look too long and too wide.

However, this may be a fixable situation.

As for the face being too long, if it's possible to add a bit more dome padding to raise it even 1/2" and still be able to see, I think will balance it alot and rid the turtle neck.

For width, this was an issue my brother had with his. We simply bulked the shoulders up. Youf shoulders are quite bulky but, they ride right against your shoulders. If you padded the interior with 1/2" of padding inside each shoulder, that would add some width to your shoulder girdle.

Those combined should balance the helemt to torso.
