This isn't a little axe, it's like 4 foot and a good amount of weight to it.

You know you're going to have to get a professional photoshoot done with each individual piece of your kit, in addition to you wearing it all. Each piece is a work of art unto itself.

I have that all planned out and lined up for her as soon as she's finished.  It will even hang in a gallery downtown.. ;D

Epicness. On a stick.

Hilarious.  :D

This isn't a little axe, it's like 4 foot and a good amount of weight to it.

Don't all my pieces have a good weight to them...yeah, the whole thing together is gonna be heavy. I don't think I'll touch Novall's 90lbs. though.

Pretty spot on there Carter for seeing it for only like 10 min., it's 2 in. shy of 4 ft.

Thank you everyone else for your comments.  ;D

Heh, to be fair, even the Chief pruned his kit to lighten it; I think he shaved ten or twenty pounds off of it just from the sheer sodden
weight of it after marching about sweating for a few hours. Myself, I like the weapons to have a good heft to them; it always gets a better reaction when someone asks to see it, then gives you the ol' eyebrow-raise at the weight.

Ben: What do we do now? Lob a baradium missile at it?
Luke: Do we have a baradium missile?
Ben: Sorry, Uncle Han said it was always a good idea to have one--
Luke: Your uncle isn't a jedi. I wish you'd remember that.

I suspect my kit is going to feel very inadequate compared to this one. lol Seriously looking forward to seeing it in person someday. (And trying to finish my protector so I can actually start on my own crusader lol.)

My kit (in the very early planning stages) already feels inadequate compared to this one.  ;)

Beautiful, Seugtai.

Re: Fem-mando Early Crusader (start of upper body set-up pg.51)
So, I probably should have waited to post till I have the last few little things finished with my upper body set up but, I'M SO EXCITED about it, I just had to share! I literally was dancing around in it today when I test fitted it, I just love it when something turns out just how you want!

Front view

My left side

Back view

My right side

A close up so you can see how the backpack is attached. (I used chicago screws so I could remove the pieces whenever I need to)

A close up of the lower backpack attachment (which is a screen door strike), the strap from the sides of the leather chest piece slides through this piece to keep everything anchored and in place.

A side view of the backpack upper attachments and a view of the right shoulder attachment. (Both of these are D-ring picture hangers)

The left shoulder attachment and a close up of how the chest piece closes at the neck (which is a swing bag clasp).

And now a front view with the axe in place.

And the back view with the axe. Still have to add that leather loop to my left shoulder to anchor the axe.

Question for you all, I need a metal that I can cut and punch holes in for the "metal necklace" piece on my chest piece, any suggestions on what would be best to use?

SO much win right there. You were right to dance :D

For the metal, maybe a thin aluminium? Pretty easy to come by and work. It may not be the right colour however.
